[There is a bit of static before a video flickers into life, and the first thing anyone watching is going going to see will be a large green eye staring right into the screen. It blinks a few times before the video is turned on its side and a loud voice can be heard, slightly muffled and stat-icy since it's so close to the microphone.]

Alright Hic, you're the one who's savvy with the techo-gizmos and what not. Is this thing on?

[There's a pause and a little shaking as the D-Terminal swaps hands- rather, Hiccup has to practically yank it out of Gomamon's claws.]

It looks like it's on. And I told you, I....I've never seen anything like this before. Not on Berk at least..

[He holds the little device gingerly and at a distance so he and Gomamon can actually be visible. Gomamon is sitting on Hiccup's head pretty much, with his flippers almost flopped over into his face.]

Great! Now can I hold it, pleease? Nobody can see me from way up here!

Hold on a sec Gomamon. I wanted to- hey! No, wait--!!

[Suddenly there's a rush of colors and then a burst of static and a loud rattling noise as the D-Terminal collides with the ground. Faint bickering can be heard, and if anyone is still paying attention they might catch a glimpse of Hiccup's feet- er, foot- before he has a chance to pick the device back up, quickly looking it over for damage.]

Aaaugh, at this rate I'm going to be the only one with half working devices..

Hmph. Not my fault you're clumsy.

[Hiccup sighs heavily and looks back at the screen, trying to ignore Gomamon.]

Look, does anyone know what we're exactly supposed to...do next? Because I'm obviously not getting much help here.

Hey! You watch your mouth kid, or I'll give ya somethin' to complain about!!

[He's never heard of the name Hermione either, but he finds it pretty. Compared to half of the names the vikings back on Berk have..]

So. Apartments. ...sounds like the first place I'll be headed is there-

[Hiccup lets out an 'ouch!' as Gomamon suddenly climbs over his shoulder to get in view of the screen.]

Hey! Who's the girl you're talkin' to?

[She gives a bit of an amused smile.] Do you need some help finding it?

[Of course, that introduction gets a wince as she brushes back a strand of her hair.]

I'm Hermione. I take it your his partner, then.

No I...I think I'm good.

[Gomamon grins a little, tilting his head. Oh no, pretty girl alert. Hermione, get away while you still can.]

Sure am! Name's Gomamon!

All right. If you ever need any help I live in the first room on floor one.

[Nope, like she'd even get it. She manages a wry smile.]

A pleasure, Gomamon. I hope you're not as talkative as Agumon is.

...Well that depends. How talkative is Agumon?

[Hiccup gives Gomamon a look as he says this. He'd beg to differ, with that gigantic mouth the Digimon has.]
