[The video showed Donnie, still a turtle, but he looked pretty downcast. In his hand was a small doll with an orange mask which eh was holding close to him. He then took in a breath and looked at the screen directly.]

I... don't really know how to put this lightly, so I'll just come out and say it. Mikey's gone. He's back home in our world. I just... found out last night and I know that he has friends here, so... as his brother I felt like I should tell all of you guys. And umm... thanks, for being his friend, I knwo that he really liked everyone, so... I guess that's it

[And now came the hardest part...]

Leatherhead... you don't have to reply, I'm not really expecting one to be honest. I am so sorry that I you had to find out about this like this, but... I want you to know that Mikey really did love you, more than anything. And if he could have he never would have left your side, but... there are jut some things that are beyond our control.

But he loved you, and when I get back I'll find a way to get you out of Dimension X so that you can both be together, I promise. And... and I know that ever since the... incident, thinks have been shaky between us. But... I'm right here, if you need anyone. I just... want you to know that...

[He held the doll closer to himself, his eyes watering up, before the feed was cut]

All our friends and Digimon here are really nice... but it's not the same... S'not even quite the same with Lion-O and everybody back home...

[There's a short pause.]

...It's OK to be sad. Or cry, if you wanna. I know grown-ups forget that sometimes.

[True, Donnie's not quite a grown-up, but he's close enough for it to apply.]

But... you don't have to be sad forever. I mean... you always miss them, but... it's OK to not be sad too, after awhile. Cause nobody who cares about you wants you to be sad forever.

[There another pause.]

Do... you want me to come over? Or do you wanna come over here? I got snacks and puzzles and stuff... And we could put up a blanket fort to hide in...

[Because blanket forts are the safest, comfiest of places, as every kid knows.]

[There's a good reason for that, Donnie, namely that Kit is a kid, but regardless, she clearly perks up a bit at hearing you're coming over.]

I'm in F1 012. I'll get started on the fort so it's about ready when you get here, OK?

[He cut the feed before heading on down to the first floor. He found the room and gave the door a knock.]

[It's actually Aburn who opens the door when Donnie arrives, but the reason for this becomes clear when Donnie comes in. Kit can be seen kneeling on her bed, securing the 'roof' of the blanket fort to the bed's railing while Emerick arranges pillows and blankets into a cozy nest underneath.(Question of where Kit got several extra blankets more than she should have will result in a sheepish admission of borrowing them from unused rooms; blanket forts are serious business, and you have to have the right materials on hand, OK?) The opposite end of the fort's 'roof' is held up by a pair of chairs pressed against the wall, since Kit's bed is near the window.]

Hi, Donnie. The fort's almost done.

[Once she's sure her knots in the blanket's corners will hold, she drapes a lighter sheet over the 'roof' to serve as the front and back 'walls' of the fort. A few minor adjustments, and she steps back a bit to take a look at it.]

Looks good to me. What do you think, Donnie?
