I love winter, and I love snow and everything about it. When I still lived in the mountains we got snowed in one year. Like, we could still go out if we wanted to make the trek, and everything in the little village was pretty close, but we were completely isolated out there. And you could go out at night, when the snow stopped falling for a while, and just...

The snow pressing in all around you, creating total silence for a while. The world gone. You don't have to think about anything. No problems, not what happens tomorrow. The world doesn't exist. Its all washed away. All the ugliness hidden under perfect white. The only sounds the slow creak of snow crushing itself. Like primordial rocks rolling against one another.

[ She smiles crookedly and shrugs, rubbing her nose to banish some of the color there. ]

Whatever. Snow is cool...I wish this was gonna last longer, but it probably won't so...enjoy it while I can, right?
