What is frikking going on around here? I tried to talk to that annoying little guy, Eren, that I have to live with and he looked at me like I was talking like Perceptor!

And like scrap I could understand him either, sounded like he had a mouthful of energon goodies.

[Of course Whirl isn't aware that no one else is going to understand him, and right now Impmon is out getting lunch for them...]

[Lopmon has her hands clamped over her ears and is gritting her teeth. The sound doesn't bug Kaoru so much, but hey, he doesn't have ears as big as his digimon's. He's covering them as well, just in case.]

...I can't understand a-ny-thing you're saying. [removing his hands briefly to mime] Maybe you should draw a picture?

[Oh hey, it's the... other guy. The other guy living in the apartment, that Whirl barely notices. He's really good at the whole "living with other people" thing, really.

[Lopmon huffs a little bit, clutching her ears a little tighter. Kaoru visibly sinks a little as she speaks.] Don't try to reason with it, Kaoru, it's pointless. I don't even think it can communicate in a civilised manner.

[A look, Kaoru. He's outside and he'll pat himself down and shrug, he doesn't have anything to write with on him right now, or to draw with.

But HM, after making a rude gesture, for Lopmon, he's getting up. enjoy the jumbled view as Whirl goes to find a patch of dirt and a stick or something to draw with.

It's a few more moments before Kaoru will get to see Whirl's glorious art work!

which is crude stick figures, some that look like robots?, and what looks like something that could be words but it's... weird angular rune-type things? Looks like Whirl is writing in Cybertronian too. To represent talking, some of it is crossed out, the ones coming from the stick figures that probably represent humans.

Probably, it's hard to tell. An artist Whirl ain't.]

[Oh jeez what is going on. Terra raises her hands and just sort of stares.] Jeez, don't have a fit!

That's probably the closest to a normal human sound to come out of his mouth today, as he frowns. FROWNS MIGHTILY.]

He tilts his Terminal every which way he can and... Nope, and he's not illiterate either. Which he voices, not quite as angrily as earlier.]

[She groans. No translation needed for that.

She's not frustrated with you, Whirl. She just looks frustrated with everything going on.]

[Hey it's no skin off his nose, ha ha. He's used to people being frustrated with him, but it's usually for something he's done.

Not because they can't understand him.]

I'm [Terra points to herself with her free hand] going to try [she waves one hand around in an odd gesture] and figure this [she points between the two of them, and to her mouth] out.

[...Probably still incoherent.]

Headtilt and then he frowns.

And then... a thumbs up. Okay? Good luck kiddo.]

...she returns the thumbs up and then sighs again before switching the feed off.]

[Armin has probably seen Whirl around thanks to the close proximity of their apartments as well as the mutual acquaintance named Eren. He recognizes him, but he doesn't think he's caught his name yet. Either way, when Armin speaks, he sounds just like Eren with a weird language-smoothie of all things European with a touch of Asian.]

... I have a feeling this communication problem is going to continue. Still, yelling at each other won't make this any easier.

[He's talking about you and Eren.]

[Oh Primus, another mush mouth. Enjoy Whirl glaring at you, Armin, and the angry sounds coming from his mouth.

Thankfully, Cannon Fodder has come back by now.]

Miss Whirl you really shouldn't be saying that sort of stuff to someone over the Terminal.

[So polite, as the digimon hands the bag of food she got to Whirl and takes the device from him so he can eat and she's going to handle public relations now.]

Hello, I'm sorry for how Miss Whirl is but... I think her and Mister Yaeger enjoy yelling at each other or something like that, even without the current issue going on.

[Armin responds with a small sigh, looking more tired than he looks upset or annoyed at either of the angry two. Jean and Eren had argued with each other all the time; Jean had snapped at almost everyone during their three years of training; it was nothing new. But when they yelled at each other for not being able to understand their languages...]

It appears so. It might be how they communicate. Still, I think it'll only be a matter of time before they both get complaints about the noise..

[He doesn't even flinch at Whirl's glaring, not even responding because he has no idea what Whirl is saying.]

[Probably a good thing Armin doesn't know what Whirl is saying, since it's most likely an insult about Armin's parentage. But right now Whirl is more focused on the food.

Cannon Fodder is just sighing and shaking her head.]

I'm more worried it might go beyond yelling someday.

[That is one thing she would like to not happen, but she knows it's probably inevitable.]

[Not an insult Armin hasn't heard before. But it's nice not to have to hear it again.]

Eren may be hot-headed but he's disciplined. As long as he isn't being threatened... [Or as long as it isn't Jean he supposes. Besides, Armin wouldn't let him.]

[It probably is one Armin hasn't heard before, since Whirl was comparing his parents to things he doesn't know about. Thank goodness he didn't understand it.]

Miss Whirl would say she's the same thing, or at least she's mentioned fighting in a war. Still doesn't change the fact they both might take this too far.

[And there is another rude exclamation from Whirl, but it's muffled by food. Enjoy that.]

If something crosses the line, I'll stop them.

If necessary, there's an opening at my... apartment, that he could take until this is settled. He and I are able to understand each other.
