[Kovu kind of feels sorry for his roommate right about now. Kovu's been growling and snarling the whole day, and by now the former lion is getting really frustrated. He can talk just fine, but he knows he's not saying anything anyone else is going to understand. Lion speech isn't exactly intelligible to someone who only knows human languages. What's worse, Kovu can't understand anything that anyone else is trying to say to him.

Lopmon's been trying to keep him calm the whole time, but it's not going so well. When the feed clicks on, Kovu looks like he's about to throw the D-terminal out the window. Lopmon cringes as Kovu just flat out roars - pretty much in his ear, no less - and then turns to the camera.]

Please tell me there's someone out there who can understand lion. I think Kovu's gonna go crazy if I'm the only one he can talk to.

[What follows will sound to almost everyone like any other big cat noises, but anyone who actually has some feline heritage will be able to understand what Kovu's saying.]

O-oh! Um sometimes just standing with someone in silence can calm you down too! Just going for quiet walk you know?

It can be really nice. Just walking with no destination in mind. Squall and I do it all the time at night because he likes it better when people aren't around.

Then why does he wanna do it with me?

[ Squall turns to Kudamon with a head tilt and he explains what Kovu said. He shrugs and says something back. ]

Squall likes your company and figured you needed a break from this.

[Kovu's still having trouble believing that anyone wants him around.]

Uh...okay. Does he wanna do it like, now?

We're free whenever!

Then what're we waiting for? C'mon Kovu, let's go!

Why not? It's fun to hang out with friends.

Where d'ya wanna meet up?

Wherever is easiest.

That sounds good to me!

[ Squall just rolls his eyes. ]

Yours drags you into stupid things too, huh?

Wasn't my idea! Now get a move on, slowpoke!

[A cold stare from Kovu makes Lopmon give a sheepish little laugh and step a few more inches backward.]
