[The feed started with static, as always. When it cleared it showed Donatello. Many probably knew of his psychotic behavior from the past month, but Donnie looked far from insane now. He was pale, had bags under his eyes, and he clearly looked upset and guilt-stricken. His gaze wasn't on the screen, instead looking o the side. A voice off-screen soon spoke up.]
Donnie, we can wait. If your still not up for it-
No Arte, I waited long enough. I need to do this. [He finally looked at the screen and took a deep breath before speaking.] I know a lot of you probably never want to see my face again, and I can't blame you. I won't ask for forgiveness for all that I did, but I'm going to at least try to explain what caused it. You know that virus that had been going around? I was the first to catch it. When Marley left, it took me over completely, that was why I threatened everyone that day. I never would have done that no matter how upset I felt normally, but the virus had already started to take me over... and it lead to me doing far worst...
[He clearly tensed, his hands trembling]
Deep breath Donnie, you can do this.
[He did as told and took a deep breath] Virus or not, what.. what I did was despicable. Absolutely despicable. I can never forgive myself for it, ever. But that's not what this is about. I already told a few of you in private, but for those I hurt that I hadn't, for those I hurt without knowing by doing what I did, I... I am so sorry. It was all out of my control, the virus made me helpless to stop anything. I would have done this sooner, but I was sick right after I was cured, and I still am. [He swallowed down a tremor] But I couldn't wait anymore... I just... I am so sorry.
[His voice had cracked during the whole thing, and tears had already gathered in his eyes. The guilt was finally too much as he put a hand over his eyes in a useless attempt to hold himself together. The screen then shifted, showing a green monkey Digimon]
I' sorry you all had to see this, but eh truly is sorry or what he did. The virus had complete control over him, he was helpless to do anything to stop it. As he said, eh won't ask for forgiveness, he understands if he never gets it. But that doesn't change the fact that he is sorry, or all that he did. Thank you for your time.
[With those words, the feed was cut.]
