[darkened]

[The video starts with a very shaky shot of one of the buildings in San Fransisco. There are sounds of growling and shouting in the background before the camera pans to an XV-mon and a Gabumon glaring, stomping, and shaking their fists at each other.]

Oh, calm down, fuzzball! I was just telling it like it is.

You liar! I'm not a fake Digimon. I'm real, and you can't take my partner away from me! I'll battle you to the death if I have to!

[Said Gabumon leaps at the XV-mon's chest, only for her to swat him away with a chuckle. The image then turns to a very exasperated looking Replica, who rubs at his temple before speaking.]

Ugh, now I'm starting to know how Real Thing felt. Has anyone else had problems with their SCOPE partners? XV-mon's kept having to beat him back for hours, and he still keeps getting back up. It's like looking into some kind of fun house mirror, and I don't know how to get him to relax.

[There's the sound of a scream, followed by a WHAM. Seems the fighting's picked up a little bit, much to the Replica's chagrin.]

...And while we're at it, has anyone made it to HospiTown yet? I'm fine with scoping out these new islands, but I'd like to at least see where this new town is before I get too carried away.

[Then he can learn the magic of card games! He's even from a game that heavily involves cards.]

Gee, I sure hope so. I tried telling him off earlier, but I swear it just went in one ear and out the other.

[Still, he's just gonna go yoink Gabumon by the tail to which he promptly responds by grabbing at XV-mon and snarling some more.]

No! You're not supposed to take her side! I'm the better-- mmph!

Quiet, you.

[He's gonna plop Gabumon down several yards away from XV-mon before shooting the big ol' dragon a glare.

...Now, back to their discussion.]

It's funny because Kotemon was way more mature as a Rookie. You're right, though; they're like a bunch of overactive kids. If I didn't already have silver hair, I might actually worry about going grey.

[marinebiting]

[You poor thing you.]

So far, evolution has helped neither of mine mature.

[As if on cue, there's the sound of two digimon tussling in the background.]

Oi! Stop that!

[But man, you have his sympathy. He thought he was the only one whose partners couldn't seem to move past the childish tantrums stage.]

If you need help, I can send mine to hold them down. They'll at least listen to what I have to say.

[darkened]

Hah, that's better than this guy.

[He points his thumb at the Gabumon, who folds his arms and pouts. That's so not fair!]

Anyway, you really think I'm in the position to say no? Long as it's not too much trouble, I'll take any help I can get.

[marinebiting]

[He doesn't mind. Also he likes you already so he can spare the time and effort.]

Where are you then?

[darkened]

San Francisco-- around the downtown area.

[He'd give more specific details, but the area's new to him, and it's not like he's from earth.]

[marinebiting]

[It's not like he knows anything about San Francisco either.]

I'll find you.

[And that he will after some searching.]

[darkened]

[It shouldn't be tough to spot 'em, as Gabumon continues stomping about the general area, shouting:]

Petit Fire!

[And spewing blue flames from his mouth. By this point, XV-mon's movements have slowed, and she's visibly panting as she flies. She's already devolved once, but forcibly changed back to her stronger form in order to stand a fighting chance. Really, though, they're both starting to slow.

Rep's also once again trying to grab and hold his feisty partner yet again.]

[marinebiting]

[Wow. What a mess this is. And he thought his partners were bad.]

Gotsumon. Betamon.

[The rock digimon digivolves to Garurumon while the frog digivolves to Seadramon. Seadramon moves to intercept the Petit Fire attack while Garurumon growls to Gabumon.]

You have until the count of three to sit down and shut up.

[darkened]

[The Replica whistles at the sight of the two larger Digimon. Oh, this'll be good.

Two things happen when the Digimon intercept the attacks. First, XV-mon stops, arches her brow, and hovers closer to the ground.

Second, Gabumon lowers his head, narrows his eyes, and growls at the two Champion levels.]

Hrrrgh! I'm not scared! You might be huge, but that just makes you bigger targets in my book!

[And then he charges, attempting to land a Horn Attack on Garurumon's legs. XV-mon simply shakes her head.]

Sorry about Fuzzface there. I think somebody musta dropped his Digi-egg.
