[ There is a Keramon on the network who looks vaguely concerned. ]

Do humans come with a factory warranty? I think I broke mine because I squeezed him too hard! Should I return him for a new human? Or bring him somewhere for repairs? Because he's been poking his arm for a while now and mumbling about something not working.

[ Keramon moves the camera a little to show Nero who is clearly sitting at a table in Hospitown's cafe. He also is in fact prodding his arm. Of course hi arm is also blue and covered with this red ridges and scales. He also might look somewhat similar to a certain pair of half demon twins to those familiar with them. ]

See? SEE?

[ The wild flailing of his spindly comically long arm attracts Nero's attention and he looks up with a scowl. ]

Hey! Don't play with that. It's not a toy.

[ He reaches out with the demony looking hand as if he's about to grab it even though he's clearly too far to reach.  That seems to occur to him, and with a frown, he gets up to take it from him instead. ]

This squidbug's gonna be the death of me...

[ He lifts up his arm that is noticeably not glowing. ]

Keramon's right it's not working. Kinda sucks.

Not just that, all your demonic powers are shot. Only people that've got powers here are the digimon, and human weapons ain't gonna work against 'em.

[ He snorts in annoyance. ]

Yeah I figured all of 'em were gone. It's annoying, sometimes I just... wanna fight something really bad.

[ aka rip something apart with his Devil Bringer. ]

I know the feeling, kid. It pisses me off too, but there ain't much we can do about it right now. Best we can do is find another Chosen to brawl with and let off some steam.

[ He rolls his eyes. ]

I have them 24/7, remember? I've ripped so many shirts and if I'm not careful waking up sometimes I forget about them and scratch with that hand instead of my left.

I wish I didn't have to get used to it. It's useful but... [ he heaves a sigh. ] How come you don't have any weird parts? Aren't we supposed to be related or something?

Good question! I've been wonderin' myself, since your demonic blood should be thinner than mine. My best guess is that your powers ain't fully mature yet and when whatever happened to wake 'em up happened, that was the closest you could come to manifesting a full demon form. As for why it stuck, beats me. Maybe your body's just shit at handling shapeshifting.

[ He stares pointedly at his and for a moment before scowling. ]

[ He's still pretty uncomfortable though. He's just barely gotten to the point where he's fine with people he's already close to knowing about it and asking about it. ]

Kid, pretty sure everyone I know here knows I'm half demon. The grand total number of people it made a difference to so far is zilch.

Besides, you ain't any odder than the guy with green skin or the babes with wings.

I'm pretty sure there's still a big difference between being a 'babe with wings' and being a guy that's part 'might eat babies'.

Why did you let everyone know about you anyways? Aren't you afraid someone's gonna try and shoot you in the back or something?

Didn't tell 'em, the D-Ts glitched and started showin' our memories. Just my luck, they went and broadcast the first time I used my demon form. I was pretty damn worried at first, but nobody here seems too eager to dump holy water on a guy just 'cause his pops came from Hell.
