[It's a video. Terra's somewhere outside of HospiTown by the forest in the background; it's late but not so late where he can't be easily seen. He looks like he hasn't been sleeping well, but otherwise alert.]

Hey there. I don't know most of you and most of you don't know me, so ... I'm Terra. I've been told in some detail we're here to save this place, and I intend to get to it.

['Now', apparently.]

Minervamon said she'd be leaving more detailed information later on, but for now I know we need to find Titamon and find the ARCloner as some first steps. It's a lot better than nothing to work with at all, but this world's a lot larger--

[A lot larger than most worlds he's been to. He can't say that, and continues after a moment of thought.]

--Than I expected. There's a lot of ground to cover. So I'm hoping to find some people willing to do some traveling. ...A lot of traveling actually. And willing to share what they find when they're traveling with everyone else. If anyone out there's got experience with uh, scouting, reconnaissance, that sort of thing, and willing to help, I'd like to hear from you.

[It's pretty clear Terra's not used to doing this sort of thing, it's all pretty awkwardly stated, with a bit of fidgeting here and there too, but he manages to stay pretty calm. This was a thing he was sure would help. Now if he could find enough people willing to help..]

Hello again. Good to finally know your name, since you weren't all that forthcoming the last time.

[There's a small laugh, and Ringabel soon raises his hand in a greeting.]

I jest. Anyway, unless you're all full up, I'll be able to lend a hand. Have we any possible locations for this equipment, or...?

Ah. Well. I guess it didn't come up. .... Sorry.

Proper etiquette says he should have offered his name anyway!! But he didn't! And now he's not sure what to do about it. Certainly, he remembers Ringabel, you just don't forget one of the first people you met on a world.

... He wonders how the chat went with Biyomon; Dorumon told him about their conversation.]

Hardly full-up. I'm not sure this is something you can get too many people for. ... And not even remotely, actually, which is part of the reason why I'm looking for people with some experience with scouting or at least a really strong sense of wanderlust.

[Wander around, send information back if something useful's found.. it made sense to Terra.]

Quite all right. I wasn't in any correct shape to even realize, truth be told. Anyway! Terra, I am Ringabel. Pleasure to meet you, and all that.

[The chat went preeeeeettyy badly. But! It's not like Ringabel knows about Biyomon asking public consensus on his personal life first, so of course he's unsuspecting. His eyes wander from the camera for a moment, and return to it. They're focused, almost sharpened.]

Consider yourself lucky, I've both in abundance, among a few other talents. Regardless - before I'll offer my services, (should you wish to take advantage of them) I'd quite like to know what Minervamon wishes to do with this device and this other digimon. I'm afraid that if her plan is to bring harm to anyone or anything using them - I'm out.

[He has to be clear on that.]

It was a bit of a rough transition, huh. I guess we all have to deal with it in some form at first..

[Terra still was. Probably so was Ringabel. He's not going to dwell on it long, apparently.]

I can't speak for Minervamon's intentions, and I don't work for her. My intentions are my own: save this world, with as minimal damage to it and us as possible. If the ARCloner is part of the reason things are going haywire then it's still important we find it, and shut it off or hide it away or something. If Titamon is as I've been told, then he's likely the cause of this mess.

[Terra crosses his arms over his chest, gaze averted, expression neutral.]

I want help. But I don't want people who'll be second-guessing everything we do from 'go' because something might happen that isn't as we planned or hoped. Doubt is a poison that'll kill us off as fast as anything could.

[Absolutely. But that confirmed or denied isn't on the cards - Ringabel's expression is frozen in a half smirk for a good few moments as he listens to Terra's words. Finally it falls, with a small flick of his hair.]

Second guessing? Oh, no. After all, a wise man sees it best to get all concerns out in the open before committing himself to an aim. Wouldn't you say? Permit me this moment, and if our intentions are compatible... then you've a shiny, new set of eyes.

Tell me. If because of Minervamon, or Titamon, or any one set something into motion which could very well damage the fabric of this world... or at the very least, hurt a lot of innocents - you'd be on side regarding opposing it? Or should I expect that long, jagged sword thing I saw you with when you arrived in my back...?

[And! His gloved fingers splay, chin resting delicately on top of them as he waits for a response.]

[Terra doesn't like any sort of implication that he's responsible OR beholden to or for someone else's intentions. He had a job to do, and that's all it was.]

My duty is to preserve the world and fix whatever went wrong with it. If Minervamon, or Titamon, or you or my own Digimon stand in the way of that then I will do what I must. I am not here to make friends and have a good time, I am here to accomplish my mission as quickly and efficiently as I can, with as little damage as possible.

[There's something in his tone that suggests yes, Terra will put his keyblade through Ringabel's back if Ringabel stood between him and repairing the Digital World. It's not exactly nice, or friendly, but it's amazingly honest.]

Don't try to do more harm than good and you don't have to worry about being enemies.

[Nothing about saving innocents. If anything, that's the only disconcerting thing about what Terra has to say -- even the mention of the blade at his back isn't that disconcerting. He did state, after all, that it would happen if anyone got in the way of his mission. Since said mission seems to be in line with his own aims, the blade in the back probably won't happen.

He breaks himself from his thoughts; and adapts a chipper tone.]

You're committed at least. Good! So am I.
Consider me hired. I was thinking about taking a little trip to the north. I've noticed a rather big, creepy looking castle that just screams "something important is in here." I'll brief you in a few days?

[Innocents fell under the category of 'causing as little damage as possible'. He wasn't the sort of person to just run over some stranger in his path, but as seen in the recent battle that vaporized Tokyo... casualties may happen anyway. It wasn't fun to contemplate.

The best he can do is try to minimize it.]

Huh. I'd been thinking about swinging up that way myself, by way of a factory I heard was in that general direction. I guess I'll leave it to you then. If you're willing, try to keep tabs on any natural resources you run across by way of food, water or shelter, or anything else that might be useful.

[It's a lot to keep tabs of but in spite of Ringabel's general aire of not exactly being overly thoughtful, Terra's sure he'd be able to manage it.]

If you'd prefer to cover more ground, I'll be happy to take the factory too. Otherwise, it's yours. It's your call, though it really depends on how many sets of eyes you've managed to recruit.

[And at the request... A nod! And a small, playful salute.]

It's alright. I'm hoping to see it myself. I can't let everyone else have all the fun.

[And maybe for him it IS fun. There's really no telling. Terra looks thoughtful for a moment, and spends a thoughtful few seconds making a tally in his head, and then reorganizing the list a bit.]

A half-dozen or so, and their partners. So it's not a small group but not huge either. Enough where I think we'll have this island detailed out in a couple weeks at worst.

[Ringabel's willingness to comply, and the convenience of him already heading in a direction that Terra wanted checked out, was a pleasant thing. It's always nice when things go right!]
