Seventh Scar [Video/Action]

[The video feed clicks on to a very animal muzzle grinning, sharp fangs proudly shown. That mane looks mighty familiar, and the voice, paired with this grin, makes it unmistakable who this is.]

Don't know what the glitch is this time, but I hope it sticks around. I love being a lion again.

Anyway, wanted to say thanks to all you guys who talked to me to other day, even if it was only to get Lopmon to quit bugging you.

[He sure seems like he's in a way better mood than he was when Lopmon was putting him up for adoption before.]

[Oh great. Another person/creature that had never seen a platypus before. Seriously, he must have just come from a world with an over abundance of such creatures or something because no one ever asked this question before he came to the Digital World.

Perry scribbled a word on a white board and holds it up to the screen. He then turns the board around to the other side...apparently you get a dictionary definition too.]

Platypus (noun): a semi-aquatic egg laying mammal that frequents lakes and streams in eastern Australia. It has a sensitive pliable bill shaped like that of a duck, webbed feet with venomous spurs, and dense fur.

[Kovu rolls his eyes.]

Lopmon, what does that say?

[Lopmon groans and comes over to the D-terminal to read off the definition.]

...Platypus. I never saw anything like you in the savannah.

[perrytheperson]

[A look of understanding. Perry turns the white board around and then draws a picture of Africa with an arrow pointing to a lion (that is a rather nice resemblance to Kovu). He then draws a second country, Australia, and draws an arrow to a drawing of himself. True, it wasn't where he lived NOW, but it would explain why Kovu had never seen one before.]

...Then how do you know what a lion is, if you weren't anywhere near us?

[perrytheperson]

[Perry erases the picture.

He now draws a picture of a map, making sure to have Africa and Australia depicted along with other continents of course. Perry then draws several arrows going from Australia and pointing to different places. On the side of the board he draws a picture of himself walking to indicate travel.

Obviously, he didn't WALK to all these places, but he has a feeling a lion from the savanna is going to recognize an airplane or anything.]

[That...is a lot more land than he ever realized was there.]

Is the world really that big?

[perrytheperson]

[Perry double checks his drawing and then nods.

More or less. It's not like it's to accurate scale or anything, but it gets the point across doesn't it?]

I...never knew that. And you've been all over the place?

[perrytheperson]

[Perry nods again. Well, okay, not ALL OVER, but he's done quite a bit of traveling.]

[Yeah, the lion's a bit awestruck now.]

That's incredible.

[perrytheperson]

[Perry shrugs. He's only able to do it because of his job and various modes of transport. He supposes it might seem impressive though.]
