[War always exacts a price. The extinction of a species was a terrible one. Maybe one day there would be hope again for Bumblebee's people, when the fighting stopped and people put their full efforts into restoration, not destruction.]

I know about peace. That's basically it right there. Days chaining into each other, and all the fears and worries you have are about things like what to have for dinner and if your friend wants to go to the beach, or if you'll pass a test instead of whether or not you'll still be alive the next day. It seems so boring on the surface, but ... anyone who's had it I think would always want it back. War takes it all away but on the other hand..

[Terra shifts in his seat a little, brow furrowing. He didn't like talking at length like this, but maybe Bumblebee could use it. War had a way of eroding things like hope.]

It gives us something to really fight for. Our lives might be miserable and full of danger, but somewhere out there are people who get to lead their unworried lives without interruption because of it. Lives get saved, spared the worst of all of it. And maybe one day when the fighting's done, then you can have that sort of peaceful, lazy life too. Maybe then your people can turn their attention and power to finding a way to undo the price you've had to pay.

[Because it was worth it. Surely. Suffering now meant others wouldn't have to. They wouldn't have to fight, risk their lives, possibly die or worse..

The topic turns inexorably back to Sora, and Terra remains silent for a time, thinking it over. He didn't think it was accidental, and Bee was likely very aware he had the right person. Why else would he continue returning to the topic? He didn't want another lecture about why he should like and trust someone he barely knew, someone who seemed a little too eager to push that envelope.]

Sometimes there's only one peace you can bring to someone. And time will handle that long before he comes along. Don't worry about it, or Sora. Things work out somehow, don't they?
