[She's quiet again, and for a moment it doesn't look like she'll say anything. Then, glancing up at him again, she smiles very faintly.]

I know you're strong. I mean, you put up with Guilmon. I can't even put up with Guilmon. [He's joking, of course.]

[This at least manages to get a small giggle out of her.] Well, I'm used to dealing with different creatures...

And from what I noticed, Lopmon... isn't. [Though this is based largely on his reactions with Ed and Guilmon, neither of whom has the most common sense.]

That's one thing you can do. And how patient is Lopmon?

[She pauses thoughtfully; she hadn't really considered it.] Well...he does tend to...say something without thinking sometimes...E-especially if he thinks he's protecting me...

He murdered my ice cream!

...y-yes. Well, he does seem to be a little brash. And you end up making everything better so that he doesn't start any fights!

I-I...I guess so...

And that's just getting started.

You're smart, you're nice, and you have this calming way about you that makes people want to listen to what you have to say. You can do lots of stuff! [Nodnod.]

[She blushes and shyly looks away.] O-oh I don't...know about all that...

You have to start by taking a good look at yourself to see who you are and what you're good at.

[That's always been the difficult part...Caring for animals aside, she's always had a hard time thinking of things she's actually good at.

But it was easier back home, where she had her friends to help her...seeing things she couldn't and being there for her when she needed them.

And while she was making new friends here too...while she knew she could count on them, and while she appreciated all their help as well...maybe it was time that she tried to discover these things for herself.]
