Ah, an orphan, cast away for the atrocious crime of having the poor sense to be born male. Learning and becoming darkness itself, with no concern as to his trade interfering with his own life until the Templar brought him in like he brought in so many strays. And he became quite attached to you. Yes, he said as much in our scuffle.

[There's a hint of disdain in that. Textbook orphan story. Nothing new there, and a dismissive wave of his hand shows the fact he's... rather biased against the dark knight.]

...
Do order something, Edea. You're the one acting like a clone!

["Clone" is a new word to him. It's only after speaking to Aiden that he understands what that actually is. He's... just going to take a small sip of his coffee, crossing one leg over the other and leaning back in his chair. Something copied from an original subject - existing independently. It'd certainly explain the memory loss, if what he's forgot never actually happened, but...

No. There was definately something there to lose. He knows it. As unlikely as the Long Lost Twin Brother thing actually is, it's viable. Technology that just simply doesn't exist in their world isn't.

You said the same thing upon the deck of Grandship when you saw. "Exactly who or what are you", indeed. Well. I've no idea - the past is, to me, still as blank as blank can be. And I'm afraid it's showing absolutely no sign of improvement.

[Aside from the number five. But he's going to stay quite quiet about that one. But his eyes are quite serious as he looks to her]

Why would I lie about not recalling anything? Brazenly lying about anything like that isn't my style, and likely would have saved myself a lot of scrapes and scratches down the way, I'll have you know.

[The coffee... is disgusting. Watery. Not bitter, not at all. So he merely sighs, moving it across the table to Edea. Hers, if she wants. Escha blinks shortly, turning her head to Guilmon, her voice coming out in a low whisper.]

Wh-what do you want?
