[Why hello, Terminal!]
[Enjoying the sound of a fire alarm coming through your comms, today? No?]
[Well here it is. The video feed is almost completely obstructed by smoke. There’s a faint view of what looks like hints of a dorm’s living room, and the stink of something formerly edible burning. Of course, you must be wondering by now how this even got started without a kitchen. One word: Microwave.]
Woah! That - wasn’t supposed to happen!
[Microwave + Ramen + Robot suddenly in a human body, the recipe for disaster.]
[And if one listens closely past the alarm and the mutterings of the one who likely caused this, you’ll soon hear the tell tale whoosh sound that is a fire extinguisher being used as white foam soon overtakes the black of smoke for a while.]
I wasn’t expecting to need college dorm rules in this place. Microwave is now in need of a designated user until you can prove you know what you’re doing.
[That is if the microwave survived this, that is.]
[And Rodimus was now covered in white foam. A woman comes into view as the flames are put out, looking just puzzled at what happened. The microwave is a mess, understandably, and the inside has the ashen remains of an attempt at Ramen.]
You just plug in the numbers and press go, right? No one said anything about explosions.
[Not that she minds explosions.]
Are those things suppose to explode like that?
[No Monodramon, stay out of this. Sam is just going to give that blank ‘really dude’ look as he holds the now empty fire extinguisher.]
How many numbers did you press? Because you sucked all the water out of whatever you were cooking to make it go boom. Had a roommate that baked a potato for thirty minutes once. That didn’t end well for anyone.
You were supposed to put in water?
[She looks honestly puzzled.]
Energon was a lot less complicated to prepare than this stuff.
[Rodimus pokes the ashen, burnt mess.]
[That pause right there of silence? That is clearly one caused by Sam not even knowing which sarcastic comment he has should be used right now.]
Yeah, well the world of humans never claimed to be simple. We’ll make sure to make a pamphlet the next time someone decides to join the human race suddenly.
[And he’ll absently poke the charred remains as well with the nozzle of the extinguisher there. Yep, that is one lump of ruined sodium covered noodles.]
You’re going to learn the wonders of take out and the mysteries of the microwave will be learned after we find out if this brave soldier survived your attack or if we need to get a new one.
[Clean up can happen after he makes certain no one dies of hunger on him.]
