Video; Memory Leak
[Leatherhead's D-Terminal starts flickering to life, beyond Leatherhead's current knowledge.]
[The scene starts out in a dank sewer, lit by someplace obviously inhabited. It’s not clear whose viewpoint it is yet, but in the unknown person’s vision is something not seen in a sewer everyday: four humanoid turtles of different builds in brightly colored masks. The smallest one, wearing an orange mask, crouches right next to the viewer, reassuring him. The viewer’s heavy breaths can be heard.]
My brothers just wanna ask you some questions. Do you think you can handle that?
Yes...
Okay... [He turns to his brothers, obviously nervous about the presence of the viewer.] Now, what is it you guys wanted to ask?
[Two of the brothers make way for the tallest one, a purple-clad turtle with a fearful expression on his face.]
We just want to know...what this is.
[He holds up a small glass tube with a shard of glowing purple energy. It is obvious the object is made from alien technology. In an instant everything in the viewer’s vision turns into a shade of red. A giant reptilian hand, covered in wrappings, violently grasps the turtles face.]
THIEF!
AW COME ON!
[The viewer hoists up the turtle, rising. He delivers a roar, harsh and thunderous, putting the other three turtles on the defensive. Two of the turtles, the red and the blue one, charge the reptile, weapons drawn. The first one is repelled. The red one attempts to leap at him with his sais drawn, only to be thrown back to the floor along with his taller brother. The object is dropped to the floor. Seeing his opportunity the viewer races towards the object, only for it to get kicked away. He chases after it, beset by the red turtle once again. With the artifact in the turtle’s hands, the viewer’s vision begins spinning. It becomes clear that he is attempting to roll over the turtle with his sheer body mass. The turtle pinned, he begins rolling with a greater intensity, obviously intent on killing him. Blue and purple-masked turtles tackle him, to which the other responds by whipping the blue one away with his tail and snapping at the purple-masked one. The smallest and youngest turtle calls out behind him, the artifact in his hand.]
Leatherhead, relax! It’s okay!
[But his pleas fall on deaf ears. The alligator swipes the artifact from his hand. Once he does, the orange one tugs at his arm.]
Put that down!
[The viewer, who is obviously Leatherhead, tosses the orange turtle straight into a wall. By the way he roars at the turtle, it is clear he means harm. Behind him a mature voice calls out.]
Stop!
[A humanoid rat, dressed in robes with a austere expression, stands behind him.] Get away from my sons!
[Leatherhead roars, charging and hurling himself with the intent to crush the rat. The rat expertly dodges the attack. He whips his tail, only to be rebuffed by the slight of Splinter’s hand and hurled straight into the wall. Leatherhead, growling, moves to another vicious attack, each of his punches hitting air every time. The rat’s fine-tuned ballet of martial arts contrasts the sheer raw brutality of the alligator’s. In one expert move, the rat grabs Leatherhead by the finger, tossing him back and forth as easily as Leatherhead tossed the turtles, which the alligator tries to fight off by snapping at the rat. The fight ends once the other combatant tosses him aside.]
Leave this place! Out!
[This time the alligator seems to listen, grabbing the artifact he wanted and stomping out of the lair, an animal cry of rage filling the air.]
[The feed returns to the Leatherhead in terminal Tokyo. In an act of desperation, he beats the D-Terminal his fists, shaking it every now and then.]
Turn off turn off turn off TURN OFF!!!
[He was doing so well, too and then...that had to rear its ugly face. This was the first in a long time his eyes have gone partially white. Just like in the feed, he rips loose a terrible cry of anger before slamming it off.]

[He sounds pretty sad for once.]
[It was then that the screen went to static and then a memory appeared on the screen. The scene a purple and silver room and int he center was a huge platform with what looked like three cannons attached to it. In the middle was a pile of rocks which looked like it had lava in them... which were forming together. Off-screen, a voice spoke.]
Well this day can't get nay worst. [Then the canon-looking things glow] And it just did...
Something else might come through! What do we do now?!
TRAAG!
[The 'viewer's gaze then showed a giant, mutant alligator rushing to the platform before jumping and tackling the incredibly huge rock giant into the ground. At the same time, the three canon-looking devices formed what looked like a portal while the giant alligator continued to hit at the giant. Another voice then rang out, one sounding a little panicked and worried.]
Leatherhead, something else is coming through!
Not if I can help it! [He said this as he continued to pound on Traag. He then grabbed him, turning for the portal. But the 'viewer' saw the mutant turn to where the viewer was.]
Farewell my friends. [He turned and started to enter the portal.]
Leatherhead, NO!
[It was too late, the mutant gator went in. There was a burst of light, which blinded the viewer's view. Then the static came back.]
[Once the static cleared, a shocked Donatello appeared again. He opened his mouth, as though he wanted to say something, but his mouth closed as he looked at the gorund. He didn;t knwo what to say.]
Is that...was that...the place he came from? I heard they were ugly but MAN...
[Of course Leatherhead couldn't help but look at it as it happened.]
I did that...I....
[His fists uselessly hit the ground. It was an empty token of anger.]
Y-yeah... I-it was t stop the Kraang for a bit an dto... save us form getting killed by that giant rock thing. We... blew the portal up later and...
[He quit talking, averting his gaze from the screen. He didn;t know what to say even more now.]
[He's still angry, angry at the whole thing. And the mention of the kraang did not help it. But there's a twinge of melancholy to that anger.
Meanwhile Impmon can hardly believe any of this. He knew he had issues and that he had an agenda...but it had to work out for him! He wasn't a total jerk! The usually cocky digimon finds himself getting emotional himself from the whole ordeal.]
He'll get out, right? I mean...he can't stay there forever! They'll screw him up even worse!
I... I don't know... I'm sorry, I don't know. I can try to make a new portal and a power source, but... I just don't know. I'm sorry Leatherhead...
Don't be. I must know what I am doing...
[Impmon won't have any of it. His eyes already water up as he stomps his foot, clearly angered by the whole ordeal.]
NO! You can't do that to yourself! You hated that place, you gotta find a way out, you big mook! You got people who care, don't you?!
I do not know. It does not matter.
Shut up! You know!
Leatherhead, I... I know you don't want me to, but Impmon's right. You don't deserve to be in that hellhole, and my brothers and I already feel bad for not being able to help you. Even... even if I can't make another portal, I'll still find a way to get you out. And if not me, there's probably something that the... you know what have that may do it. But there is a way, I just need to find it!
[He just couldn't believe that there was nothing that could eb done. he just... couldn't.]
[And just then in an act which Impmon would probably regret later on, he climbed over Leatherhead, grabbing the scruff of his shirt. He knew Leatherhead had to do his own thing, but after seeing all that horrible stuff, he couldn't let him admit defeat. He still couldn't wipe the tears off, augh he was a mess.]
Maybe some things are meant to be...that don't mean you can't fight them, right?! I mean...maybe I'm not meant to be the best partner...but you fought to get me better at it...
[He buries his face in the larger guy's shirt.]
So maybe I can do the same for you! I don't know, maybe I can make you fight this too! Before I start regretting getting all wimpy!
[Donnie was just stunned by what he was seeing. He wasn't expecting any of this. Not at all. He just watched, unable to speak. How could eh speak at a time like this anyways?]
[Leatherhead isn't sure what to do...he just slowly pats the digimon's head, sighing deep. He still felt angry, but with Impmon's sudden outburst it was hard not to give him a chance.]
You wish for me to fight...to fight for you.
We'll fight for each other...or something like that, ok?
