Demons have it way worse than humans do, and if at least one person stands up on their behalf, they're going to want to believe there are other people out there who can and will accept them just as readily.
Its guardian rules and traditions that create the barriers between humans and demons and sequester demons like animals in a zoo. If future generations of demons are willing to interact with young humans, those humans will grown up aware. Just them knowing can change everything. I just have to make sure those interactions are benevolent, and by the time the other guardians find out what's happening, it'll be too late. There will already be a generation of awakened humans. They can kill me if they want, but they'll never be able to stop that kind of momentum.
And the demons want to live in the world. To be themselves and be free. I just have to give them a way to do it, and then sit back and watch the progress spread itself.
