X1 || Audio/Video

How many times do we have to go over this? [His voice keeps warping. Something about data and deaths, technical errors. Nothing particularly worth note or interest. Yet.]

As many times as you believe it will take. [Another voice interjects patiently. Gabumon knew from the moment he'd seen his Chosen that the boy would be somewhat difficult, but even so-]

[This was almost to the point of ridiculous.]

I believe we've been over the general outlay of this world several times. The known problems, the current visitors. The underlying issue that is concern for us all. [A pause.]  Are you sure you won't reconsider?

There's no benefit to fixing this world. [A bland reply. The speaker clearly isn't interested in what's already been said, voice getting fainter as he moves away from the holder of the D-terminal.] You want my opinion? Let it rot. Burn it. And if you survive all of that, move on.

[After several moments of silence, the video turns on to reveal Gabumon, eyes focused further afield.]  I'm afraid my Chosen has proven to be rather obstinate against... involving himself, so far. If anyone happens to recognize Vanitas, perhaps it would be best to contact me. He could use the motivation of friends from home.

[Bumblebee may have attributed the erratic change in Vanitas' voice to a D-terminal malfunction, but Gabumon's speech comes out smooth, and crystal clear. It's not the technology. It strikes Bee as strange.]

Is your partner all right?

Aside from his 'sunny' disposition, I mean.

Difficulty adapting?

[Bumblebee's fairly new to the world, but he has seen several new arrivals and no one had ever experienced anything to that degree.]

What could cause that?
