V-05 [Video] | RALLY
[Kaldur appears on the screen and he is seated at a table in what appeared to be a cave of some kind. He is as serious as ever. Also, while there is a lot of information here, Kaldur makes sure that he speaks as a smooth pace so as not to let anyone fall behind in all of this information.]
Attention, those of you still residing in the city, this is Kaldur’ahm with the observation group on Server near the castle. I wished to report back to you with what we have discovered so far and also to request your assistance. We have exhausted our means of gathering information with just the six of us and the only thing left to do is to infiltrate the castle itself.
Unfortunately, this poses some problems. First, our guide, Taiki Kudou, has fallen to exhaustion and cannot lend us his abilities at the moment in this particular matter nor can he aid in transporting you out here. Second, the reason we need extra assistance is that the forces outside of the castle are far more than we anticipated and more appearing on a regular basis. I will admit, I do not like the odds of our success at infiltration even with more of you coming out here; however this could be a break in information as to how and why we are being brought to this world.
Before you agree to join us, let me first share what information we have. I will make sure to include a map I have drawn from our exploration of the castle’s exterior at the end of this message. It will not assist us once we are inside, but should prove useful as we make plans to break in. Again, I must warn you that attempting to breach the castle will result in a battle no matter what route we take. The castle and surrounding forest are brimming with digimon of all levels. I would suggest that should you decide to aid us that you travel in groups and also work with those groups in battle. Teamwork is essential, I would advise not attempting any infiltration solo as you will very likely be overwhelmed in the process.
[He pauses here. Apparently he wants all that he has said to sink in before getting to the actual debriefing of what they have learned. Also at this time he holds up a map, the same map that he will attach at the end of the message. Obviously he is using this as a visual tool and points to areas as he talks about them]
That being said, here is what we have gathered:
On the first day here we watched the north side. This is where the main entrance is located, a set of giant doors. The digimon wandering the perimeter appear mindless but will often break into fights among each other. This indicates that this is not a well-trained army of any sort and they will just as easily dispose of each other as they will anyone approaching the castle. On top of that, every so often the doors will open and large groups of digimon are forced out from the castle. It appears that the castle is rather full since some digimon were even forced out from the windows and upper towers of the castle. I have no explanation for this but be advised that this makes the main entrance extremely dangerous to approach.
Next is the west side that consists of a courtyard that was surprisingly empty, compared to the large masses we saw the previous day. It also appears to be one of the weaker sides of the castle as the walls are extremely worn and in disrepair, even crumbling in places. At first I assumed this would be our entry point for infiltration. However, we discovered that a strange phenomenon takes place here that some of you may be familiar with by now. At one point there was an earthquake and when we looked back to the courtyard 50 digimon had mysteriously appeared in the once empty space. I cannot help but think that this is somehow connected to our own arrivals; although how it is connected I cannot say at this moment. Regardless, this means that the entrance from this side could prove difficult if the digimon appear while you are attempting to get in. I would advise a strong group to take this side if at all possible.
The south side of the castle already has a hole in the wall which could easily be used to gain access to the interior. The hole was made from some sort of attack already staged on the castle, although there was no sign as to who or what might have done it. I cannot say how fresh the attack was either. It could just be from the mindless fights that break out among the digimon, but that is no guarantee, as it could just as well be some as of yet unidentified party also attempting to infiltrate the castle. I would advise proceeding with caution if you decide to take this side of the castle.
Last is the east side of the castle and this may prove the most advantageous or it could perhaps be a trap. While the eastern wall is in good condition, there are several grappling hooks and ladders that lead to the ramparts of the castle proper. Either we have an ally helping us to get in or they know what we plan to do next and are inviting us into a trap.
[Puts his map down. He hopes that information will be helpful to everyone.]
This is all the information I can give you so far. As a reminder, the digimon around the castle are of all levels and considered to be extremely dangerous. Our best option is to attack as several groups positioned at different points around the castle. Knowing that the crests might be able to avail us some extra fire power, I request that those of you who possess one spread yourselves among the teams. While you might not have achieved activation of the crest yet, we do not know how that is done and it could save us in a moment of weakness. I would also suggest planning over the course of your trip out here and divided yourselves into four groups: east, west, south, and north. The trip will take some time at any rate and you should use that time wisely. Remember that the northern and western walls will provide the most trouble, as might the eastern if it is a trap. Please do not elect to come out to Server lightly. It will be a highly difficult mission and it will likely take us several days to actually infiltrate or even defeat the digimon guarding this place.
I believe I have covered as much information as I can. Please consider your options and prepare accordingly my friends. If you still have questions I will attempt to address them to the best of my ability and I am more than willing to help plan if that is necessary. I hope that this information will be helpful to you.
[Attachment: 1 Map of Castle. Includes marked entrances and notes from his debriefing above. Also suggested strategies for getting in through certain points and tips.]
North = Entrance, large doors, EXTREMELY dangerous, lots of digimon in waves
West = Courtyard, mysterious appearance of digimon, dangerous when not empty
South = Hole in wall, powerful digimon around? possibly dangerous
East = method to climb wall provided, possible trap, dangerous

I'm not sure which part of the castle I'll be attacking yet, but I'm definitely going to be there Kaldur.

Your digimon can fly, right Chika?
I might suggest gathering other digimon of the same and perhaps providing aerial support to those areas that need it. I think especially the east while might be good since, if it is a trap, you and anyone else in the air will be able to see if someone is lying in wait to ambush from atop the wall.

You okay there, Kaldur?

He nods.]
The cave if a decent distance from the castle to provide a reprieve. We only encountered trouble once so far and that was dealt with eventually. No one has been captured, killed, or spotted. This is going much better than some other reconnaissance missions I have been on back home where the initial plan would have fallen apart by now.

You need people with crests? Me and Gots are there. I'll...find some people to travel with. Don't wanna go alone, remember?
Stay safe until we get there.

I am sorry we did not get to travel together this time. Perhaps on the way back to Terminal?

Besides, I have a feeling that these rabid digimon, if they continue to increase, will eventually wander away to other villages and areas, going back to my first point.

[The voice of a Gotsumon can be heard in the background.]
But you're still going, right?
Of course. I'm just saying that I don't care which side I attack.

You're going too? Then I guess I'll meet you there, huh.

I'm on my way there, Kaldur. Put me wherever you need me--I've got a crest and Kyubimon's really tough.
[He is surprised but then maybe he shouldn't be. He nods.]
We'll meet you here. You'll be able to find our location using the digivice so the cave should not be a problem.
I am not sure where everyone is positioning themselves, I am mostly leaving it to their discretion. I would suggest possibly the South since I am not sure we have many taking that entrance yet.

[ The gears are working in her mind. Maybe if she lets them go and clean up most of the mess, she can take them down when they're exhausted, therefore take over the entire castle herself.
Downloading a copy of this post entirely, she just taps at her screen in a lethargic manner as though to indicate her boredom. ]
What kind of Digimon are there? Mindless or not, they've got to have something in common and therefore a weakness they all share.

[He shakes his head.]
They range in type, level, and pretty much every aspect I can conceive us. There isn't really a pattern.
