*Dante is strangely absent from this video, but Coronamon appears to be sitting on the floor next to a bed. His tail is curled onto his lap and he seems to have been crying. In fact, he still hasn't gotten his sobs fully under control by the time he starts recording.*

Since...since a lot of you know Dante and are friends with him... *Sniff.* I should probably tell you. He's- *Gulp.* He's de- *Choke.* he's gone. It was...I think it was an accident, but... *Sniffle.* Humans don't turn into eggs, do they?

*He sets the beer in his lap, holding it between his legs, and takes Laguna's hand with a firm yet obviously controlled grip, mindful of the claws on his gauntlets.*

Dante. You come to help the kid out too?

He's barely left Dante's room since he brought him back...

[Damn, for someone who was literally cold and dead just a few moments before; this Dante guy had one hell of a grip...no pun intended. Still, at least for his partner's sake, it was good to see him up and about again]

Yeah, you could say that. I literally just stepped into my apartment when your friend sent out the message that you were...well, dead. I couldn't very well leave him on his own, so I made my way over here as fast as I could...good to know there were other people around to help too; I wasn't exactly a field medic back home.

[ Is someone currently dividing by Zero right now? Because he is pretty sure the two of them should never meet ever. ]

Considerin' I was just a shishkebob, I doubt human medicine would'a done you much good. And the kid was just fine. And I doubt the ass who just left would accept treatment even if someone offered.

I was most worried about how the two of 'em would handle it 'til I figured out how to tell 'em I wasn't dead.

Well...getting run through is usually a good indicator of death, so I'm not surprised. Based on your reaction though...either this is a common occurrence or people in this..."Digital World" don't die quite like they do in the real one.

[Laguna would have thought more about this, but Squall's comment brought his eyebrow up in an arch as he turned to look at him with a half cocked smile]

And it'll probably make him feel better to know he might not have...

[ He glares at the wall and keeps to himself over here. He'd only get harassed if he brought it up. Besides right now the focus should be on Dante over there, not him. ]

Pretty common for me. Kinda lost track of how many times I've gotten stabbed, but I'm pretty sure it's at least seven by now.

Yikes...you must be like a human pincushion or something if you're still walking around after all that damage. Then again...I did break almost every bone in my body once and I'm still doing relatively okay; so I guess it isn't so bad.

[She's trying hard to fight back the urge to track him down, pick him up, and hug him. Losing someone is a thing she knows too well. She softly smiles.]

What? [ She asks in a flat tone matching her equally flat eyes. Did she hear that right? ] What do you mean when you say dead? Because when you say dead it can mean a lot of different things if you don't fuckin' clarify what you're-- you know what?

[ The screen of the D-T spins briefly in an end-over-end tumble before clattering to the floor and landing on its side, giving a full view of Roze sprawled across teh floor of her apartment, Kotemon's arms wrapped around her legs. He drags her back away from the door and out of view of the screen where a moment late several distinct and painful cracking sounds are heard. Roze cries out and curses colorfully while kotemon appears and picks up the D-Terminal. ]

Do not worry, Coronamon. I am sure your Chosen's data will be reconfigured safely. Until them I will try to keep Lady Roze here.

YOU HIT ME IN THE FACE! WHAT THE HELL?!

Please tend to Lord Dante in her absence and if you would be so kind, have him call her when he can.

[ Kotemon flicks off the D-Terminal just as Roze comes back into view with several red lines from a practive sword across her face, hand reaching for Kotemon.]

What do you mean he's gone!?

[ She's not stupid, she knows what the question he's asking really means but she can't really bring herself to say it. It's not even like they were dealing with Digimon attacks right now so why!? ]

What happened?!

( Who thinks jumping off into the ocean via tickling is a smart idea? )

[ Squall just rolls his eyes at Laguna's comment and watches them both converse instead. ]

Wait his brother is here?!

What happened? Are they still in the park?

Well, I ain't exactly entirely human. Normally got enough demon blood in me to shrug somethin' like that off.

He just got here. A-and he helped bring Dante ba-back to his room.

H-have you lo-lo-lost someone you were born for too?

I-I'm pretty sure h-he didn't do it on purpose.

H-he and his brother...they f-fought. Dante said...he said it wasn't r-real but...but he got stabbed anyway...

[ Flips open the D-T, looking over his shoulder before eyeing Coronamon. ]

Try not to make too much noise about it. She's tearing up her room right now and talking about "breaking orbitals" or something until someone looks like a squid. I think she's talking about Lord Vergil. I can't tell though because she started yelling until she was slurring.

I had to beat her back from the door again so she's in the bathroom cleaning her face and fixing her hair. Vanity...I swear.

Like I said, when things get sorted out, if you would kindly direct Lord Dante to the terminal that would be greatly appreciated. And give my regards to Lord Vergil.

Well that's just great!

Is there anyone doing...anything about it? Can we do anything?
