[ he's quiet for the time being. dead. he's going to end up dying. by someone that's stronger than he.

and is that why Dante is a wreck? why there had been an almost overeager tone to his words and actions when he had appeared here? with the way that Dante is acting it's obvious he is hiding something. ]

[ while Vergil has mixed emotions and the like over this, nothing about his own inner turmoil bleeds into his voice. his expression is controlled and so is his body language. he is not about to give anything away from inattentiveness. ]

*Maybe he should tell Vergil the identity of his killer. His brother probably has the right to know and move forward from here with that in mind. But he doesn't want to admit it if he can get away without it.*

The identity of the guy who killed you might...be somewhat important in some ways.

[ what would he be doing in that? Doesn't sound like him at all.

Whatever the case, things are clear now. Vergil isn't upset over it. Dante is truly incapable of killing him knowingly. It's not like there had been malice with the act. At least his brother is a worthy and honorable opponent.

Thus his brother and his actions as of late is out of guilt. Mentally he scoffs at this. ]

I suppose that makes recent events ironic. It would also mean that we are square.

[ so stop feeling guilty. It unnerves him. ]

*One thing he absolutely refuses to tell Vergil is the circumstances of their fight. It's perfectly believable that they would duel of their own will and to die while under someone else's control...it would be an insult to a proud warrior like his brother.*

We did not grow up together. For the majority of our lives, at least for me, has been spent apart.
