[Ryan is sitting on the floor of his room next to Mimi, who is currently wearing what looks like one of those bows you stick on presents. You know what I mean. It's gold, and it matches the ribbon on Ryan's hat. There's a plastic cup in front of Ryan.]

First of all: welcome to all the people who've recently arrived here. I've attached a present for you.

Second . . . [Ryan places his hands on the cup and glances over at Mimi.] Are you ready, Mimi?

Ready!


[Breathing out, Ryan smiles for the camera and starts tapping out what's probably a familiar beat to a lot of you. The words, however, are different.]

We're calling out to everyone. We're putting out the welcome mat!
I've got the tunes. I've got the food!
And we'll have pa~arty hats.

[Both Ryan and Mimi sing the next bit together. The harmonization is a little off, and it's clear that Mimi is in no way as good as Ryan, but it's passable all the same.]

We'll have everything you could ever need,
a real good time is guaranteed.
Put on your dancing shoes,
with hosts like us you can't lose.

[Bringing down the cup one last time, Ryan gives the camera a smile. Mimi giggles.]

If you're a little confused, Mimi and I are having a sleepover tonight and you're invited. It's mostly for the younger kids, but adults are allowed so long as there's no alcohol and everything is kid-friendly, more or less. Bring a pillow with you - not that I'm promising a pillow fight, but it's a definite possibility.
