October Jobs
Greetings, Citizens of Terminal Tokyo! This is your local Trailmon Job Agency doing its monthly rounds! We've a lot of jobs to fill and more people than normal. Hope none o' you youngins were out here for a vacation! Man-- I remember the good old days of running free, yes ma'am. Now my gears are all rustin' and it's a hard to get on chuggin'-- but never you mind all that!
Since there's a lot of new folk around here I best get'ta explaining, yeah? Beginning of the month or so we post a bunch of jobs. We Trailmon spend a while setting 'em all up nice and organized for you lot.
All ya gotta do is sign up to do it. Remember there's limited spaces for each, so don't be riding the Slow'mon about it!
[[OOC MECHANICS: This is how it will work (we'll be doing it similar to [community profile] gargleblasted). Each number needed will be listed and it's first come first serve. Each character is allowed ONE (1) job, so please don't go signing up for more than that.
To get the job all you have to do is respond! SIGN UPS CAN BE FOUND HERE! Please respond with the CHARACTER JOURNAL of the character you wish to sign up with!
This is where all interactions will be taking place. There is a section for each job, and you will be allowed to set up further things as you like in terms of dates and times and who you will talk to.]]

If this is the way you treat all your equipment, it's a wonder anybody comes here at all.
Ryan, relax. He's probably just having a bad day.

I'll have you know this place is very popular on the weekends.
[Turning and tucking his hands in his apron pocket he addresses the duo]
Stupid game anyway. What are you here for?

I still don't see how this is supposed to help any. [Ryan's eyeing the game machines suspiciously.] Video games are a waste of time.
Ryan. [Mimi looks Very Disappointed in him. It doesn't seem to matter to Ryan, who's still got his arms crossed over his chest and looks stand-offish.]

[He seems angry but then mostly just baffled]
Have you never even played a game dude? What kind of uptight stiff says games are a waste of time!? What do you do for fun?

[Realizing Ryan's not going to answer the other question, Mimi does it for him.] Ryan's a performer. He takes it very seriously and doesn't do much else.

So he's great at playing pretend but he's too boring to play anything else? Laaaame.
Come on Beastboy stop it...

[Ryan's clearly offended, and Mimi tugs on his hand.] Ryan, come on. Don't get into a fight.

[He mimes with his hand Ryan's talking too much]
You don't see the value in taking part in interactive stories? Or games of skill and chance? Then your world is just as boring and dull as your face. No wonder you dress like a golfer who fell into a girls closet.

[Mimi is clearly distressed and trying to drag Ryan away. Unfortunately, Ryan's not paying very much attention to her.] Ryan, come on. Let's just go.

Geeze you really are a nutball aren't you? Of COURSE there's chance. I mean religion is one thing but a script? If there was a script half the stuff around here would have been re-written to make more sense and be less random!
[Rita has given up at this point and with a frustrated sigh she stomps off to get a drink from the vending machine]

And what viewer!? Come on dude I'm from a world that most people say sounds like a comic book. Wouldn't I notice if there were viewers? I don't see any screens or panels or quick time events! You're off your nut.
