✬ 001; video [during the morning of the 6th!]
They say this place is both the Real World and the Digital World-- but I'm wondering what exactly constitutes the "Real World" in this place.
[A loaded statement for a first post, but Hope's got a lot of questions and little answers.]
One would assume it's the world we come from, but it's very obviously not from the looks of this place. I spent my first couple of days searching and researching, though the scripts are unfamiliar to me, thus I'm unable to read the texts at all.
I'm not a philosophical person by any means [actually it was one subject he had trouble wrapping his head around back in school] so I apologize for all the deep thinking. I just have a lot of questions that have no answers-- which I imagine is the norm when arriving here.
My name is Hope Estheim, by the way. Good morning.
You need to stop thinking too much.
[The speaker of that particular line is nowhere to be found, but Hope looks down, somewhere at his feet, and well. His partner is off-screen, obviously.]
I like thinking, actually.

"Older" though, strikes a chord. It means somehow, as a boy, he'd been here. As a l'Cie? Possibly.
That set of memories are the one he knows are almost false after all, especially the ending of his l'Cie days. Who knows what else he's experienced then that he doesn't know or remember?]
I suspect you know me.

So many people leaving lately, so many of his friends gone. So to have someone he at least knew back...]
You...don't remember? I'm Cam, we were roommates.
[Because really, the name doesn't ring a bell. Neither do the face nor voice.]
But I have had a record of having unreliable memories. It's likely that if I'd been here before, my recollection of that time had been wiped.

... Please don't start calling me any of those. [And yeah, that's a male Digimon's voice all right.]
Those are names for women, I doubt I ever would.
[But he focuses his attention back to Cam soon enough.]
As he said, he is a Leormon. The difference in Digimon is significant I assume? Considering they are two different species.

So...maybe it was a different you who was here. ...I know it's confusing.

I can think of a few things as to why I am different from before, aside from the physical. But there's no way to be completely sure of anything at this point.

It's nice to meet you too. [But the 'again'? No, it's not a nice feeling to have, that he'd forgotten someone.]
I must warn you though, because I don't recall any of this, anything you say that we've shared together is not something I know, no matter what it is.

[Except now he does more than fix them.]
