Everyone needs to stop acting weird right now!

[The words come out with a snappiness and roughness unusual for Guilmon's usual attitude. He looks at the camera with his eyes narrowed, snout wrinkled, and teeth bared. His tail swishes, and he growls.]

If you don't, then Guilmon will have to stop you! Guilmon won't even hold back!

[He flexes his claws and rears his head back. A red burst of fire flies out of his mouth and off screen.]

I don't even need my Tamer to do that. Guilmon is strong! Guilmon can be just as good as all you partners who have your Tamers. Guilmon can...

[He winces, and for a moment his fiery demeanor fizzles into smoke. His eyes dilate back to their normal look, and his voice becomes more of a whimper.]

Guilmon doesn't like this...

[But it's a moment short lived. His pupils become slits again, he roars, and the feed abruptly ends.

Seems the virus has hit more than you Chosen.]

[He pauses and taps his chin thoughtfully.]

[It's said bluntly. Perhaps a bit too bluntly, and with a coldness that's awfully out of place.]

Why would Guilmon want to beat himself up? There's dangerous people, and they're the ones who should be stopped! Guilmon's gonna make it stop.

[Grrrrowl. He accentuates his point by spitting fire at the ground, which... really doesn't help his argument.]

Besides, beating myself would hurt and I don't want to be hurt! There's enough people being hurt already, and that's not fun.

But they're doing bad things! Guilmon heard it, and people being bad should be stopped no matter what.

[It makes sense in his virus-infected head. The few traces of his normal self still in there, the bits of goodness left tell him that something has to be done.

This just isn't the way to do it.]

[Shiki's a tiny bit worried Guilmon's going to Dark Evo or something, but her words are completely sincere. Lalamon, however, is less so.]

Lalamon, shut up. You're not helping.

[Definitely not helping, Lalamon. In fact, her words drown out Shiki's initially, and Guilmon shoots them both a nasty glare.]

Not if Guilmon stops you first!

[But even in this mental state, he'd rather not. There are real dangerous people to worry about!]

But if they can't control it, why are they doing it? What's making them do bad things?!

[Her presence calms him somewhat-- his voice is a little calmer, at any rate, though a scowl remains on his face.]

You need to be careful! There's dangerous people hurting everybody. That's why Guilmon's gonna make them stop!

[Except he's only heard of one such person being dangerous. Unfortunately, he's been sucked into a mindset where his mind's taking one bad situation and assuming there's more to come.]

[He shudders, slamming his trap shut. He shouldn't yell at Juri. Juri's too nice for that, and Juri's already been through so much. He shouldn't scare her!

He slumps, grimacing and moaning.]

[That funny feeling isn't going away, either. If anything, it's getting wrose.]

[Duke is not that impressed. He's roling his arms so hard.]

[Not helping, Duke. He's far from nutty. He's got everything under control!

For a brief moment, he winces again, moaning not out of frustration but out of pain. This isn't right. He should know better!

Those thoughts get drowned out pretty quick, however.]

You know, you should be helping, too. Your Tamer got hurt! Doesn't that make you mad?

[Duke just rolls his eyes. He's kinda used to this with Leatherhead.]

Uh yeah, but if you haven't seen half the town wants to tear apart that Donnie kid.

So maybe going all rampagey is a little overdone.

But there could be other people doing bad things that nobody's talking about! If somebody's acting weird, there's probably lots more. Lots and lots more!

Guilmon can help, but nobody understands because they keep telling him to stop or not to worry. Is it because Guilmon's alone?!

He's just not in the best state of mind right now.]
