[Wheeljack knows carnage, he's seen it on the battlefield and off. In the medbay and out. And despite Whirl being a human, which he's still pretty new at learning about--it was Whirl. And for everything Whirl was, for all the smartass remarks and horrible morality, he was an Autobot.

A Wrecker.

And it just makes him think of all those times...that he wasn't there. He can't really speak it out--it's not his style. But those eyes soften a bit.]

[Whirl may not know what's going on in Wheeljack's head, but he does scowl a little.

He's mistaking Wheeljack's expression for pity, and the feed on his end goes off before Wheeljack get's some text.]
