Hi everyone! I'm back! It's been a long time, huh? Things have been really crazy...

Oh, but I wanna show you guys something. It's really important...

[He digs around off to the side for a moment before pulling back up, holding a golden tag with a pink crest.]

Tadah! Fluttershy finally got her crest! Isn't it neat? Kindness really does suit her the best...



Choco, what are you doing?

[He pouts at the Floramon.] I'm just showing everyone Fluttershy's new crest...

[She rolls her eyes.] Would you stop goofing around? Gimme that...

[She starts to take the D-Terminal from him, but Choco holds on, and there's a shaky view of the ceiling as the two start tugging at the device.]

No, leggo! This is what I do - !

[Please excuse as the feed cuts out.]

[He glanced at Floramon, then seemed to mentally shrug after a moment.]

Martin and I were up in the tree tops of the Indonesian rain forest to study draco lizards when I raced ahead of him. I was moving through the canopy just fine, up until I misjudged a leap and wound up falling into a mud wallow waaaayyy way way way at the bottom. It knocked me for a loop for a little while, and afterwards I came down with a temporary bout of acrophobia. [Looking aside, he notices Nes' confused face.] Fear of heights.

[Chris sighed lightly, clasping his hands together before holding them apart as he continued talking, a wan smile on his face.] Unfortunately, losing the ability to climb- which is pretty much my signature thing -came at the worst time, because one of our other villains was going through collecting draco lizards for one of her own plots, and she wound up accidentally kidnapping Martin as well. With a little inspiration from a hatching nest of draco lizards I'd happened to come across I was able to get the courage to climb back, and we even got draco power out of it. But it was looking a little sticky for a while, especially because at the time all we knew Martin was gone, we didn't know where he'd gone or why.

G-Goodness...that really does sound like it would be difficult.

I'm glad everything worked out though...

Yeah. Difficult is one way to put it.

But you're all better now, right?

[beingthecreature]

Oh yeah, no worries! 100% now.

[strengthinkindness]

That's good. I didn't think so, since you don't seem afraid of anything.

[beingthecreature]

[Chris is silent for a few moments, longer than you might expect, before he smiles slightly.]

Thanks but, everyone's afraid of something. Even me.

[strengthinkindness]

[Floramon smirks, puffing her chest out.] Not me. I'm not afraid of anything.

[Choco rolls his eyes at her for a moment, then turns back to Chris. He seems about to ask something, and Fluttershy seems to anticipate what it is because she's tries reaching for him, as if to quiet him down.

She doesn't quite make it, though, as Choco still manages to get the question out.]

So what are you afraid of?

[beingthecreature]

[He was almost expecting the question, but even so he didn't really have a way to answer it.]

What am I afraid of?...

[A soft sigh through his nose.]

Losing someone.

[strengthinkindness]

Wh-

[Fluttershy grabs Choco before he can finish, silencing him with a bit of an embarrassed smile as she looks at Chris.]

Th...Th-That's understandable...

[beingthecreature]

[He smiles in reply to Fluttershy, before looking at Choco with a strange expression.]

...You really have to ask?

[strengthinkindness]

[He seems to think about it for a moment, before Floramon finally leans over, lifting one of his floppy ears and whispering.]

...Oh.

[beingthecreature]

[Little throat clearing.]

Yeah. That's my biggest fear, maybe even my only real fear.

[strengthinkindness]

I-It's okay to be afraid of things like that...especially of something like that.

B-But that's when you can use the fear for something good...to prevent anything like that from happening.

[She certainly would know.]

[beingthecreature]

I know, and yeah. I try to do that, when I can. [It hasn't worked every time, which might show on his face, but he tries.]

[strengthinkindness]

As long as you do your best...that's all anyone can ask for.
