[Broadcasting from the outskirts of the city, Magnus starts up a comm as soon as he wakes up, noticing the destructive aftermath of Titamon's visit even from where he stood.]

[The sight incites a very human reaction he wasn't quite used to - it felt like his heart was sinking to his stomach. He hadn't been there to support the others. What must they be thinking?]

[Steadfast and stern was the voice that came through, betraying none of the emotion he felt internally.]

This is Ultra Magnus reporting in. I will be needing a status report on all Autobots and the events that occurred within the past few days. I appear to have been caught in a data stream.

[A little fatigue enters his voice.]

And.. I apologize for being absent when I was needed.

[At first what can be heard from the feed is a whole bunch of noise, like someone literally knocking over everything that existed to get to the D-Terminal. Which...was half true. It was Wheeljack, staggering his way through the rubble to grab it.

They did it. They beat Titamon, he left the city, and Magnus came back. Just like he thought.

It's a rough couple of minutes as his fingers switch the feed to video.]

Was wondering when you'd show up.

[He's trying to sound nonchalant, and it's failing. Terribly.]

[Wheeljack. His voice was the first to show up. That seemed to be comforting, somehow.]

[His voice remains steady, although he couldn't hide the fatigue evident in his expression.]

Do you have a status update, soldier?

[Business first. He needs to get caught up and make sure everyone is organized.]

[You and him both, Magnus. Wheeljack sounds beyond tired, despite the facade he's desperately trying to put up. Where does he even START...]

City went to scrap.

Sir.

[Okay, maybe he can offer a better explanation.]

You and Arcee got taken by data streams caused by an ugly fragger called Titamon. And that's just chippin' the surface.

Arcee was captured as well? What is her status?

[Because while he only looks a little fatigued, he feels terrible physically. He can only imagine that Arcee is going through the same thing.]

She's fine. Couple'a dents and scrapes, but nothin' she can't handle.

...

What about you.

[Not that he was...worried.]

[Oh...well then. Leatherhead feels awkward for a number of reasons...where does he begin? "My boyfriend got choked by his brother"? "My adopted bro got murdered"? "I discovered my partner was a lie and I got a new partner"? He's not even sure--

Oh but Monodramon knows. Oh man, he's got so much stuff to tell.]

HI! I think my chosen is having a hard time saying stuff, so I'll try filling in--wait, are we Autobutts? ANYWAY, buildings got knocked over and I got punched in the face by Duke and I met Leatherhead and there was hugs and drama and kissing and it happened like REALLY REALLY FAST!

[SIGH.]

Leatherhead, are you there?

[He's not quite getting anything he can piece together from Monodramon's description.]

That was my new partner...he is loud.

[Oh man, there's a voice he's relieved to hear from again.]

Ultra Magnus! Welcome back, sir.

[A data stream, again? At least he doesn't seem as exhausted as Arcee was when she got back.]

Uh..a lot's happened. [Wait, he wants more than just that.] There was a virus or somethin' going on that had people attacking each other, and or just acting weird. Includin' digimon. Then we had a Titamon and Lotusmon show up to attack the city, and Sakuyamon showed up to stop them, but us...uh, chosen had to take them on.

Oh and...uh, you...might have another partner lookin' to find you.

A new partner?

[Looks like the clam just peeped up for a moment.]

You'll need to explain which Digimon those are, Bulkhead.

[Names don't do too much good when he's never seen or heard of the creatures he's referring to.]

Uh...yeah, a new one. Uh...long story.

[He's unsure if he wants to tell the clam he's fake, considering how his own partner reacted. He'd probably break the poor little guy's heart.]

Titamon is a new one to me. [He'll send a picture.] But he's the one that did most of the damage you see. Hoe showed up with what looked like an undead army, and then attacked the city. Lotusmon, [Another picture that he got from somewhere.] Was workin' with him. She's been heard on the communicators before. Both were taken outta commission far as I know.

And Sakuyamon seems to be on our side at least. She's in the shelter recoverin'. [One last picture.]

[Whirl is going for audio because he knows he'll get a Magnus lecture if the other Autobot sees the state he's in.]

[He quirks an eyebrow at that.]

The status of all Autobots and their allies, as well as the cause and extent of the destruction to the city.

[Nicknames means he likes you, Magnus.]

Well from what I know everyone is ok. Even Prime. The cause was a giant digithing that was a pain in the aft. Not much more to tell you than that.

Ultra Magnus! ...Sir.

[Someone sounds surprised. But it's the kind of relieved surprise when one doesn't expect good things to happen very often.]

You have no idea how happy I am to hear you.
