He looks a little worse for wear, but happy nonetheless. A satisfied smile that the worst is over and the clean up can begin. He waves at the camera and then gestures across from him, turning the screen around...to a Tokomon wearing a fedora that is WAY too big for it.]

Hello everyone! It's Bartholomew. Perry just wanted me to get the chance to tell you all we are okay and to get to brag. I finally evolved to my ultimate form, Silphymon. Perry even said so. That means he activated his crest, of course, and I'm trying to convince him that it's a sign we should move to our district.

[Tokomon is beaming and happy. The fedora slips down on his head, covering his eyes. A chuckle can be heard off screen and Perry reaches over to adjust the hat back into place. Despite it being too big, Tokomon just won't give up on wearing it.]

Thanks Per. Anyway. I have more good news. We met a new friend. Perry said I should introduce her since she's under my command now, apparently I'm the senior partner for Perry which means I get to call the shots for the new one.

Okay, Perry, you can show her now.

[Perry moves the camera to show a Renamon leaning against a nearby wall. You can tell she is a part of Perry's team because he's apparently already gotten her a fedora. She has it tilted forward and looks like she stepped straight out of a noir film in the way she stands and her hat tilted like that.]

Say hello to Gertrude.

[Gertrude tips her hat, turning to the camera.]

Hello. The name is a bit long, but I suppose if my partner finds it fitting then I shall try to live up to it. After all, it apparently holds some significance for him.


It is good to meet you all. Perry and I have already discussed how we will start repairing the city. But first he must rest...he has apparently been over working himself before I arrived.

[Perry turns the screen away from Gertrude and Bartholomew. He nods at the camera to sign off.]

Yes, Perry and Bartholomew have been very good friends to us since they arrived.

Well we're all animal lovers so it was a good jumping off point.

[Perry gives a thumbs up at the animal lovers comment. Because it's true.]

We need to do more stuff together though, Perry doesn't get out much.

But most of the entertainment stuff in town was destroyed...

[Perry shrugs, gesturing at his partners. Part of one, half a dozen of the other. He knows he's been kinda antisocial lately so he was trying to fix that by letting his partners introduce themselves. He hadn't really gotten a chance to do it during the battle.]

[The feed turns to the two bunnies on the floor.]

Ya know You. The other one's....Him.

[You can almost feel the Lopmon's internal anger as those ears droop.]

[Oh, your poor partners Wheeljack. Are those seriously the best names you could come up with? Then again, Perry's not really surprised and his face is just kind of neutral. After all, your first partner was named You so what did he expect.

His partners aren't as silent.]

I suddenly don't feel so bad about my own name.

[Apparently at some point in the conversation Gertrude had picked up Bartholomew the Tokomon. He's not protesting.]

Aww don't make that face Lopmon. I think Him is a unique name. Besides, it matches You's...sort of.

[The best ones he can come up with for the moment, yeah. He's at least glad you aren't too expecting of him. You should (and do) know better, after all.]

It's good to have a nice name with meaning. It almost feels more.. special.

I thought it was a mouthful at first, but Perry told me they mean a lot to him, so I kept it.

[Renamon peers down.]
Guess I'll just have to get used to it.

[Bartholomew nods.]

What's your name. I don't think we've met yet.

I'm Sylvia. [And she manages a little curtsy.] It's a name that means a lot too. My partner Chris explained it one day, it's from a name for rabbits back at his home.

I think it's quite nice.

That's a pretty name.

It's certainly shorter.

[beingthecreature]

Thank you. [She smiles sweetly.] Whatever the name though, length or otherwise, it's nice to have one with meaning.

[A gesture toward Gertrude.] I'm sure you'll do it proud.

[Perry smiles and holds up a hand in greeting. He feels like he hasn't seen Miwako in a long time.

Tokomon hops up on to Perry's lap, Perry carefully adjusting the too-big-fedora on his head.]

Hi Miwako! It's good to see you. Were you okay during all of the action?

[Renamon ducks her head into the screen.]

[ Miwako waves happily. ]

Yeah I was fine. Lucephina flew me away from all the damage and had me hide from it until it was gone.

[ She paused and gave Renamon a curtsy ]

IMy name is Miwako. I'm a friend of theirs.

[Perry nods. Pleased with this and glad Miwako was safe during the conflict.]

I see. I must say I'm quite surprised by how many friends my silent partner can make despite not saying a word.

[Gertrude looks over her shoulder at Perry who just smiles mysteriously and shrugs. Tokomon laughs.]

You get used to it. He's not that hard to figure out.

[Offscreen comes the groan of one Impmon.]

Ignore him, he's just a crazy stray.

[Perry brightens up even more to see LH. It felt like it had been awhile. Perry is clearly pleased to see him.

Perry then directs his attention to the new guy. He nods, yes he is LH's friend.]

Boy, he has a lot of friends!

You did not...change in the last weeks, have you?

It has happened to too many...

[Well he activated his crest, but he's pretty sure that's not what Leatherhead means. Perry simply shakes his head in the negative. He'd been fine during all of the chaos...well aside from being extremely worried about everyone affected.

He certainly knows what Leatherhead means. Perry had lost count of just how many. He gestures back at Leatherhead. A silent question of "and what about you?"]

[Leatherhead took a moment to decipher Perry's silent language. He trusted that if he had not been around to see it, he wouldn't understand.]
