[It's Perry!

He looks a little worse for wear, but happy nonetheless. A satisfied smile that the worst is over and the clean up can begin. He waves at the camera and then gestures across from him, turning the screen around...to a Tokomon wearing a fedora that is WAY too big for it.]

Hello everyone! It's Bartholomew. Perry just wanted me to get the chance to tell you all we are okay and to get to brag. I finally evolved to my ultimate form, Silphymon. Perry even said so. That means he activated his crest, of course, and I'm trying to convince him that it's a sign we should move to our district.

[Tokomon is beaming and happy. The fedora slips down on his head, covering his eyes. A chuckle can be heard off screen and Perry reaches over to adjust the hat back into place. Despite it being too big, Tokomon just won't give up on wearing it.]

Thanks Per. Anyway. I have more good news. We met a new friend. Perry said I should introduce her since she's under my command now, apparently I'm the senior partner for Perry which means I get to call the shots for the new one.

Okay, Perry, you can show her now.

[Perry moves the camera to show a Renamon leaning against a nearby wall. You can tell she is a part of Perry's team because he's apparently already gotten her a fedora. She has it tilted forward and looks like she stepped straight out of a noir film in the way she stands and her hat tilted like that.]

Say hello to Gertrude.

[Gertrude tips her hat, turning to the camera.]

Hello. The name is a bit long, but I suppose if my partner finds it fitting then I shall try to live up to it. After all, it apparently holds some significance for him.


It is good to meet you all. Perry and I have already discussed how we will start repairing the city. But first he must rest...he has apparently been over working himself before I arrived.

[Perry turns the screen away from Gertrude and Bartholomew. He nods at the camera to sign off.]

Thank you. [She smiles sweetly.] Whatever the name though, length or otherwise, it's nice to have one with meaning.

[A gesture toward Gertrude.] I'm sure you'll do it proud.

[Bartholomew and Gertrude exchange a look. A silent conversation between the two. Finally Gertrude sighs and looks back to the screen.]

I gotta say, I love the hats you two are wearing.

Fedoras. [Sylvia turns as her partner Chris comes in next to her with a smile, waving at the other Digimon after a moment.] They're called fedoras.

[She smiles.] Ohhh, I see.

Thanks! Our partner got them for us. He wears one too, see.

[Tokomon looks over.]

Perry come back over here!

[Perry had been half listening to the conversations at this point. He picks up Tokomon, pushing the too-large-hat back so that the small in-training digimon can still see. Sure enough, Perry has on a fedora to match. He waves at the screen.]

They were wearing them when I met them. It seemed they wanted me to join in on it as well.

[Chris waves, and laughs a bit.] It's a good theme. At least you'll be able to pick each other up out of a group.

Perhaps something for us might be a good idea too, Chris.

Y'think?

Yes~ It'd be nice to have a little personalization. [She giggles.]

[Well there's that. Not to mention it kinda had it's own meaning behind it. Perry nods. He does a quick drawing and holds it up for Chris to see. It's a drawing of various types of hats...including a safari hat surprisingly enough.]

[He studies the drawing for a moment, then shakes his head.]

Mm thanks, but maybe something other than hats. I'd be worried about it interfering with the horns my partners have.

[As if to make the point, he snickers a little and lightly jostles Sylvia's head, his fingers interweaved with her horns, which makes her giggle.]

[Perry can understand that. He nods, putting the drawing aside. Tokomon pipes back in.]

Maybe you could try matching colors.

[beingthecreature]

That could work, yeah! [He looked aside at Sylvia.] Headbands maybe, or bandannas?

Something along those lines I would think, yes.

[perrytheperson]

Perry I think we've started a trend.

[Perry's not sure this counts as starting a trend. He shrugs though, mostly amused at the thought.]
