[The screen flips on not to Kovu, but to Lopmon and Strabimon, who both seem to be fighting over the D-terminal.]

It's on already you idiot now let me hold it!

[Lopmon suddenly lets go and Strabimon yanks it toward himself. He growls, then points the camera at Lopmon.]

Kovu's being a wuss again, but he wants to say thanks to all the guys who fought with him when Titamon showed up.

[Lopmon ducks to dodge a pillow tossed at him from one side of the room, while Strabimon's snickering is easy to hear since he's holding the D-terminal.]

He got the Crest of Hope, and I even got to digivolve to Ultimate! I turn into a super cool werewolf!

[Strabimon turns the camera toward himself now.]

Enough about the rabbit. I'm Strabimon, the partner Kovu was supposed to have when he got here. Dunno why, but Kovu said I should tell everyone who I am.

[He shrugs, and there's a bit of fumbling for the camera and a shout from Lopmon before the feed turns off.]

It's nice to meet you Strabimon. I've worked with Lopmon a couple times now and I think if you'll give them a chance you'll see what a powerful team you can be!

[Strabimon's brow creases as he thinks of what to say. Then he just kind of tilts his head and looks down at the camera with a half-frown, and an arched eyebrow. The expression is eerily reminiscent of his Chosen partner, even with just the brief time they've spent together.]

I was just saying he was talking about himself too much. From the sounds of it a lot of Digimon reached Ultimate when they fought Titamon, so what's the big deal that one more did?

Maybe the fact that I saved your sorry Rookie butt when I did it.

[Lopmon grins, before Strabimon shoves him over. That just gets the rabbit Digimon to start giggling, and from somewhere off-screen there's a deeper voice chuckling a little too.]

[Even Rita can't help but chuckle]

I just worry that not all the partners are taking this as well as some of the others.

We've been lucky so few partners have fought over all this.

[thescaronhisface]

[Lopmon gets back up, and his giggling goes quiet as he hangs his head.]

Kovu said something about me being able to understand how he feels now.

Quit moping, you brat. It doesn't get anything done.

[A moment later there's much flailing and shouting, as Strabimon has grabbed Lopmon into a headlock for a noogie. From the looks of it, he doesn't have any plans on letting Lopmon care about being a fake partner.]

[Rita just laughs and smiles, happy to see Kovu's got partners that look ready to keep him on his toes.]

[Lopmon finally manages to get away, and Kovu's still off screen trying not to laugh his head off. Strabimon's still grinning, but Lopmon's pouting kind of playfully.]

See? That's what moping gets you.

Next time I digivolve I'm gonna set your tail on fire.

Oh, Kovu got a crest too? Neat!

Yeah! I and digivolved right after. It was really cool!

Awesome! I digivolved after Fluttershy got her crest too!

...Although I was a Moonmon before that, so when she got her crest I just digivolved back to a Lopmon...

That sounds kinda funny. Why?

Well...back when the city was all dark, I got hurt and turned back into an egg. Then I had to digivolve from a Snowbotamon and Moonmon before I could get back to being a Lopmon.

[It seems somebody has borrowed Martin's communicator, as Adele's face pops into view.]

Oh wow, congrats on your partner getting his crest and reaching Ultimate! Way to give Titamon what for!

[She's still not sure if she should be a little disappointed about missing the important fighting or not.]

You should've seen me as Weregarurumon! It was so cool!

Wish I could have. But me and my partner were busy helping his brother and Fluttershy rescue a digiegg!

[She is actually proud of being involved in a rescue mission. If you can't fight, rescuing something is pretty decent substitute.]

Why'd a digiegg need rescuing?

Fluttershy had hid it in an elementary school. And with all the destruction going on, she was worried about it.

Whose egg was it? And why did she hide it anyway?

Now, now. Don't call your partner a wuss. And you two shouldn't fight, it just makes things more difficult.

We call each other names all the time. What's the big deal?

We weren't fighting, either.

It's just how they talk!

[It's a different voice, another female. Veemon turns off to someone else, frowning.]

By fighting.

[A paw reaches over and bops Veemon right on the head, at her V.] Not fighting! [Now the owner of it sticks her head into frame, a Bearmon with a thin toothy grin.]



Isn't that right?

[Strabimon grabs Lopmon into a headlock and gives him a noogie, grinning. Lopmon flails a little and uses his ears to bat Strabimon's arms off him.]

What's wrong with a bit of a tussle here n' there? Not like we're gonna hurt each other.

Yeah!

[Lopmon thwaps Strabimon in the shoulder with one of his ears as revenge for that headlock.]

[Veemon observes, stoic, and then she shakes her head and sighs, handing the camera over to Bearmon.] I don't think I'll ever understand.

[Bearmon snorts, laughs, and rolls her eyes.] Stick in the mud.

[It appears like Veemon doesn't pay the comment any heed.]

[Strabimon and Lopmon laugh along with Bearmon.]

Sounds like she's got some learnin' to do.
