[The screen flips on not to Kovu, but to Lopmon and Strabimon, who both seem to be fighting over the D-terminal.]

It's on already you idiot now let me hold it!

[Lopmon suddenly lets go and Strabimon yanks it toward himself. He growls, then points the camera at Lopmon.]

Kovu's being a wuss again, but he wants to say thanks to all the guys who fought with him when Titamon showed up.

[Lopmon ducks to dodge a pillow tossed at him from one side of the room, while Strabimon's snickering is easy to hear since he's holding the D-terminal.]

He got the Crest of Hope, and I even got to digivolve to Ultimate! I turn into a super cool werewolf!

[Strabimon turns the camera toward himself now.]

Enough about the rabbit. I'm Strabimon, the partner Kovu was supposed to have when he got here. Dunno why, but Kovu said I should tell everyone who I am.

[He shrugs, and there's a bit of fumbling for the camera and a shout from Lopmon before the feed turns off.]

Wish I could have. But me and my partner were busy helping his brother and Fluttershy rescue a digiegg!

[She is actually proud of being involved in a rescue mission. If you can't fight, rescuing something is pretty decent substitute.]

[Something about his voice makes him sound almost like Kovu when he says it.]

Fluttershy had hid it in an elementary school. And with all the destruction going on, she was worried about it.

It's just how they talk!

[It's a different voice, another female. Veemon turns off to someone else, frowning.]

By fighting.

[A paw reaches over and bops Veemon right on the head, at her V.] Not fighting! [Now the owner of it sticks her head into frame, a Bearmon with a thin toothy grin.]



Isn't that right?

Whose egg was it? And why did she hide it anyway?

[Strabimon grabs Lopmon into a headlock and gives him a noogie, grinning. Lopmon flails a little and uses his ears to bat Strabimon's arms off him.]

What's wrong with a bit of a tussle here n' there? Not like we're gonna hurt each other.

Yeah!

[Lopmon thwaps Strabimon in the shoulder with one of his ears as revenge for that headlock.]

[Veemon observes, stoic, and then she shakes her head and sighs, handing the camera over to Bearmon.] I don't think I'll ever understand.

[Bearmon snorts, laughs, and rolls her eyes.] Stick in the mud.

[It appears like Veemon doesn't pay the comment any heed.]

[Strabimon and Lopmon laugh along with Bearmon.]

Sounds like she's got some learnin' to do.

Because it was Donnie's digiegg. I think he asked her to hide it from him before he went completely off the deep end.

[She's still not sure how trustworthy Donnie is, but she'll trust her Chosen's judgement on him.]

That makes sense, I guess. Is the egg okay now?

Oh, don't be too hard on her. I think I got all the fun, between the two of us.

Yup! We got it and kept it safe and sound. Fluttershy decided to give it back to Donnie the other day even. I guess he's better now...

[Yeaaaaah, she's definitely still not 100% sure on Donnie, even if he did seem genuinely sorry.]

You're the one who called her a stick in the mud.

[Lopmon snickers as Strabimon gives him a friendly shove.]

She's gonna knock your skull off if you don't quit teasin' her.

I hope so. Kovu got really upset when all that stuff was happening, and he barely left his room. Maybe if Donnie's back to normal Kovu can relax again.

Yeah, but I can make fun of her. No one else can. That's kind of how this thing works.

[She winks at Strabimon and nods.]

[Strabimon laughs.]

See? It's like me teasin' you. Anyone else does it and I'm gonna rip their throat out.

Not if I bash their brains in first!

[notmyprophecy]

[A low whistle from Bearmon.] Dunno if I'd go that far... You two're a bit weird, you know? [She says it incredibly casual.]

I don't blame him...that was kinda scary.

[Make that a lot scary. She could tell what had happened to Hiccup and Fluttershy had made her partner upset and anxious, even if he'd put on a brave face about it.]

Fluttershy seemed to think he was well enough to take care of his partner's egg now. I don't think she'd have given it back to him if she wasn't sure he was back to normal. Especially considering she risked her life to keep it safe all this time.

[They both grin.]

I don't think so either. Fluttershy's too nice to do anything else.

[Lopmon looks off screen for a second.]

You hear that Kovu? Donnie's better now!

[notmyprophecy]

Aw, my partner makes friends with the one who's got weirdo partners. How nice. [Bearmon seriously doesn't sound all that worried about this.]

Jus' think, you're gonna be around us all the time.

[Strabimon flashes his sharp teeth in another smirk.]
