[Have one very frazzled looking Impmon, an Impmon that used to be called Cannon Fodder but now she's called Jetstream.
In fact she looks like she's trying really hard to not cry.]

I can handle Whirl, even if she is a handful and drinks and has been doing it for over a week now and made a mess of the bathroom I'm sorry Eren and Kaoru I'll clean it up.

[Deep breath and some hiccups. Also she's really upset she's not called Whirl "Miss" or used his roomates last names.]

But but... Gots-- I mean Rotorstorm, I can't. He's just so so.

[She's wiping at her face now and trying so so hard to not cry. Poor thing is actually overwhelmed.

Whodathunk, it wasn't Whirl who broke her, it was Whirl's "real" partner.]

[Mikey looks worried, he remembers the impmon, as well as her partner with the... unique personality. He also remembers seeing Whirl hit her during one of their conversations.]

[This is an obvious lie, but she's going to put on a brave face.]

That is, um... Miss Whirl's other partner is kind of harsh and mean and more of a giant asshole than Miss Whirl is, but I'm fine!

[She says all that while trying to not start crying again.]

Are you sure? Maybe you should take a short break, Leader, Leormon and I were going to go for pizza, do you want to join us?

[He felt bad for the Impmon, she was clearly very worn down but he didn't want to just tell her he could see she was lying. Maybe they hadn't been planning on going out, but Leader and Leormon could forgive him that little white lie when it was something to let another digimon get some time to recover.]

Well... everyone has their comfort foods. The key is not having too much of things that aren't as healthy for you.

[He may be self indulgent in some ways, but Mikey's not stranger to moderation.]

I know that for me sharing a pizza with friends or family helps pick me up a ton, and it's a lot better than having it alone.

[Jetstream has to deal with Whirl, the guy who goes on day long benders. She knows moderation, even if she has trouble enforcing it on her partner.]

[He felt his heart twist in place as he tried to keep his breathing even and hold back the tears that had suddenly been there at hearing that. He really loved making friends now that he could, and he had gotten careless, he had started assuming people were his friends, when maybe they weren't. He wondered how many people didn't want to be his friend, now that he thought about it.

He wondered if they felt how Bradford did before, that he wasn't worth their time, or if the ones that new he was a mutant thought he was disgusting and a freak.]

That went badly, since she meant it more like "wait, what we're friends?" then anything else. But she's as bad with words as Whirl is with emotions it seems.]

[The pizza may have been a sudden idea, but with how much his heart hurt right now, may it was him who needed that 'comfort food'.]
