[Yeah, were you expecting a new arrival? Yes? No? Maybe? Well, whatever the case, here is now a video feed playing on your screens. It is incredibly shaky and three quarters of the screen is covered with something purple, but it is a video feed nevertheless. Clearly, the recorder making this is not adept at handling the D-Terminal, or maybe its something else entirely.

From the first line, its clear that it is indeed something else entirely.] C'mon, you should at least say hello!

--I'm not sure if that's a good idea.

[The second voice is very male-sounding, although quiet and trying his best to be as polite as possible even though there is no real need to be.

From near the mic there is a huff, presumably from the first speaker.] How are you gonna talk to anybody if you won't even say hello?

I--well. [Its clear that the second speaker doesn't seem very comfortable with all of this, and there is a certain amount of discomfort in his voice, especially when he talks again.] It's just been a while, so I'm not really used to--this.

[A brief pause, and when the first speaker talks again this time the voice is not as forceful.] Well, no time like the present to start again, right?

[Another pause here too.] I suppose so.

Good! [And here the D-Terminal is being fumbled now, brought around so that now people are see one Floramon close to the camera. The Digimon smiles before waving with its free hand.] Hello! I'm Floramon! I don't have a nickname like the most of you, so Floramon is just fine until I do have one.

But this isn't about me -- I've gotten a partner, and he wants to say hi to all of you! [And here Floramon moves, shifting the camera so that now Bruce is on the screen, and he gives a tenative smile to the camera before he waves weakly.

Floramon, apparently, is not pleased by this.] C'mon, Bruce! Say hi!

...hello. [He tries the smile again, but its weaker this time, and Bruce is still looking distinctly uncomfortable about all of this.

Some pity is taken, at least, and Floramon comes back into the screen, looking somewhat apologetic.] Sorry, my partner's kind of shy - but he's really nice, I can assure you! And I'm looking forward to working with you all in the future! Feel free to say hi back too! I'll make sure my partner answers to you next time.

[With that said, Floramon gives one more wave before the feed shuts off.]

[Of course, Bruce is not aware that his ability is locked, so he still thinks that losing it would be a bad idea.]

[You shouldn't worry about that Bruce, you're in pretty good company when it comes to strange things. But that'll come later.]

....You're right, it does sound kinda boring...

Floramon, hush...!

[She either doesn't seem to hear Fluttershy, or doesn't mind her.] So the world you're from...Nothing interesting about that? No super humans or magic or anything like that?

[Yeah, your magnificent escape from Afghanistan is something that will be told through the generations.]

I suppose its worth a shot, if anything.

[This place is nice and all, but Bruce would rather get out as well. He's not cut out for this whole thing.]

No...it would not.

I...did not mean it.

[Boy Bruce let him tell you about his rage problems...not really though.]

[You seem to speak from experience here, Sora. Bruce can't help but blink a little, surprised by those words.]

Do you travel around different worlds a lot?

[Bruce does speak now, but its out of curiosity - but his curiosity tends to override his inherent shyness.]

[What part, huh? Bruce makes a face, even though Misha can't see it.]

I'm not really one for fighting. I'd rather stay out of this if I could.

[Beside him Floramon shifts a little, not talking but if Misha can see its face there is a bit of discomfort over that answer.]

Sure do. It's kind of a long story, but I've ended up on a lot of different worlds. First it was so I could try to find my friends. Then it turned into helping my new friends and stopping some very bad people.

[ that's putting it very simple like. trying to explain this usually just results in weird looks from other people and digimon.

but hey. he's here to help out any way he can. ]

I found my friends too. S'not like I ditched them or anything.

"Fight" is kind of a general term in a situation like this. Doctors fight to save their patients, city officials fight to keep the peace.

On the other hand... no one can really force you to participate. Just kind of sad to see an actual adult around these parts wanting to stay on the sidelines. Last time I checked, we had far too many teenagers and children wanting to run the front lines here.

That's the spirit.

[He grins.]

So, are you coming for burgers? Or are you going to stay out in public where everyone can stare?

[He may or may not be playing on Bruce's shyness against him.]

[Ahaha no worries, Floramon #1, Bruce doesn't mind at all. Boring is better than special, in his opinion, especially considering his own experience.]

Nothing too interesting, yeah. [Wry smile.] Sorry for the disappointment.

[After everything Bruce doesn't really call what happened in New York as special. Just... important, in some ways.]

[It's okay they can both not talk about their rage problems.]

Hey, it's fine. Being in a new place without warning can be all kind of stressful.

[God knows how Bruce has his own experience with it.]

[Floramon gave a little humph, scratching her head.] Well, that's no fun...

I-It's...not a bad thing, though, Floramon. There's nothing wrong with...peaceful...

["Normal" was a fairly relative term anyway, so this seemed like a safer word to use.]

[Wow rude, Tony, using his awkwardness against him. It doesn't help that he is actually sitting on a bench outside.]

I could use with some food.

[Just food, specifically. Not burgers, Tony.]

[Yeah if you told him the whole story Bruce would just end up being very confused. At least this makes it more understandable.]

Sounds like quite the adventure. [His eyebrows rise up a little.] But regardless - nice to meet you now, I suppose.

[It's Tony's subtle way of saying he'd like Bruce's company]

Well, good Meeting Hall, your pot plant should know the way here. There's a cafeteria thing here. It's not as bad as it looks, well it looks bad, but the foods good.

[Bruce personally wouldn't call it 'fighting', since that's a general bad term for him. But he gets what you mean.

There's a brief pause, and Bruce considers for a moment. There are a rather big number of kids, from what he can see so far, and that does worry him. Why are there so many children in a place where fighting is a common feature?]

Fighting's not my style. I can try to help in other ways, but not with that.

[It sucks and maybe it won't help him, but for this Bruce stands his ground.]

It is more what has happened that arriving...I came here a long time before.

...Hello.

[If nothing else, Waver could understand the apparent allergy to social interaction. So Bruce would be greeted by a kid with a British accent and a Biyomon draped on his head like a large pink hat.]

I should probably warn you, there's a good handful of people that are...outgoing. It can be a little hard to deal with.

For wusses.

Biyomon. [Frowning, he lightly scolded the bird who had spoken in a rough masculine voice that fit about as well as the Digimon himself did on Waver's head.]

Nice to meetcha too, pumpkin. [ She smiles again, leaning back to flop into the couch, pink eyebrows arching high as those too-bright green eyes flick about, looking at his face very intently for all details. Shy she was not. ]

So what's your story, huh? I don't meet many - to be read, any - grown men quite as buttoned up as you. Its a new thing. I'm tryin' t'figure if I like it or if I'm gonna mercilessly torture you with my friendship.

I do prefer peaceful to the alternatives.

[Not at all, angry, but still wry and a little amused. Bruce knows how people find it boring and not fun, but Bruce likes boring and not fun. Its easier for him.]

[A nod.]

I see. Well, the past is the past though, so no need to bring it up. You don't have to explain anything beyond that.

[You're not the first shy person Bruce knows, so he's not really affected by it. He can deal with it, really. Its mostly just his own issues at play here.]

There's nothing much to say about me. [No stories about turning into giant green ragemonsters here, nope.] And I would prefer the lack of torturing, thanks.

[The last part is vaguely dry, but Bruce does put it off as polite. Its an ability of his.]

[Hey who are are calling a pot plant?? Floramon puffs up here, clearly not amused with the moniker, but doesn't say anything since Bruce is responding.]

Alright then. I'll see you in a bit, I suppose.

[Your warning is a bit too late, Waver, but it is appreciated nevertheless. Bruce manages a smile here, more for Waver than himself.]

It's not too bad, really. I'll be fine. But thanks for the heads up.

[Floramon, in the meantime, takes the chance to wave again, pleased to meet new people.]

Hello! It's nice to meet you!

[Waver gave both of them a small, slightly awkward smile of his own, carefully removing Biyomon from his head and setting him down before continuing.]

My name's Waver Velvet. [Yes, really.] Sorry you got sucked into this, it's all a little crazy.

You're crazy.

Biyomon, not now, please.
