[There's static on the screen for a moment before it clears, and Fluttershy waves a bit shyly into the camera.]

H...H-Hello everyone, um...I...hope you're all doing well.

S-So I...I've learned a little about...Christmas, which is...coming up, right? A-And it's actually very similar to a holiday we celebrate in Equestria...wh-where I'm from. S-So I...I-I was thinking that I'd...like to give gifts to people. I-I mean if...if that's all right...

I have...some ideas for what to give people, b-but, um...i-if you wouldn't mind, could you...maybe let me know what you'd like as a gift? I...can't really promise much, but I'm...pretty good at knitting...I think...

S-So if...everyone could let me know what you'd like...I'll do my best to make it. E-Even...if you don't celebrate Christmas...or Hearth's Warming Eve like I do...I'd still like to give you something...if that's okay...

[She hesitates for a moment before turning the D-Terminal off.]

[ She's just a bit worried about her being overworked. ]

W-Well, I can...knit pretty fast. So I'll do my best. And some people haven't asked me to make them something...they've asked for different kinds of gifts.

But what about you? I feel as though it's been so long since we last spoke. Are you doing all right? Is there something you'd like me to make for you?

It wouldn't hurt for you to recruit help if it comes down to it.

As for myself, I'm fine. [ Just fallen back into her role of being the resident recluse. ] You don't have to do anything for me--it'd be strange, right?

[She nods.] If it gets too much, I'll ask for some help.

That's good. I'm glad you're doing well.

Would it be strange? I would like to give you a gift, but...I wouldn't want to cause any trouble...

What would be so troublesome about a gift?

[ As selfish as she tends to be at times, even this concern befuddles her. ] You're giving something to a person so it shouldn't be any trouble to them. If it is, then they weren't deserving of kindness in the first place.

Oh, well I...I just meant I...I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable. If it'd be...strange for me to give you a gift...

I said it'd be strange, but I didn't say I'd be uncomfortable. [ Hmph. ]

I just haven't had a gift since I was a little girl--er, that's personal. Too personal. How do I delete this again?

Oh, I'm sorry...I misunderstood.

[The last part made Fluttershy a bit sad, but she didn't want to embarrass her, so she decided not to ask.]

I...would like to make something for you though. If that's okay...

Then we'll both exchange gifts! [ It comes out loud due to the embarrassment she's already feeling. ] T-Then it'll be fair and not strange at all.

So you better tell me what you'd like too!

[She didn't really want to put her through the trouble of a gift. But if it made it less strange than she wouldn't mind.]

All right. That does sound fair.

[The question was what she wanted. She already had this problem when Twilight had asked her.]

Of course it's fair. Equivalent exchange means giving a gift and receiving one in return.

[ FAVORS don't exist to terrorists. ] So let's see... Is there something you actually need?

Th-That's true. [It was still a nice thought.]

Um...I...I can't really think of...anything I need at the moment...

[She wasn't too sure about that either.]

O-Oh...maybe...I-If there's a book about this world's animals...n-not the Digimon, but animal-animals...that...isn't in Japanese...That would be really nice...

I-If that's...not too much trouble...

[ She's not the first person Rin's come across like that, but now she's thinking. ]

Animals huh? All right, I'll keep an eye out. Shouldn't be that hard to find something like that.

[She shakes her head.] I've tried learning a little, but...I still don't really understand.

Thank you so much...! I'd love to learn all about the animals of this world. I'm sure there are lots that I've never heard of before...

I could teach you sometime. [ Pause.

Because she can't believe she just openly offered that. ]

[ The last time she tried to convince someone, they made fun of her. ] Once we get things cleaned up here, I'll get right back at you.

[She nodded.] It would make reading things a little easier...And it could be fun to learn too.

I'm going to see if I can gather up a couple more people. It'd be a lot more fun to learn with others, right?

O-Oh...well, yes, I suppose it would.

It would make it easier to practice too, being able to try and talk to each other with it...

[Though she had to admit, she was a bit nervous about trying it out with others around.]

[ AKA other people she can push around. ] You deserve a nice study buddy, don't you think? Is there someone in mind you might want to ask?

Mm...I'm not sure. I don't really remember who speaks Japanese and who doesn't...

Oh! Well actually maybe I can ask my friends from Equestria!. Twilight, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash...they'd might be interested to -
