[Tony isn't looking at the screen but he's still for it facing him.]

Do you eat toast?

[Tony pauses, glances away from the screen then back again.]

Is this a good or a bad thing?

No...it is a good thing I think.

Well that's always a more positive thing to work with then.

Though, I don't think anyone's thought I've been like anyone elses friends before.

Are you alone as well?

[He didn't mean that as an insult, just to genuinely ask.]

Well, that all depends on your definition of alone. Right now..

[He gestures behind him where Dorumon's asleep on the bed.]

I'm alone in that there's no one else in the room who isn't data. That and somewhere there's a blonde roommate with short shorts doing something or another.

So I wouldn't really say alone, no.

Short shorts?

[That's not important.]

What I mean is...do you have friends here?

You know, shorts, that are. Uh, well short. Well shorter than short.

Uh, well. Loaded word, really. Someone I know from my world is here, on my team, lives in my tower sort of.

...I have not tried those.

[No scarring the Stark, Leatherhead.]

They are your friend, yes?

Not entirely sure it's your style, kid.

[If only something like a teen boy in short shorts could be something that scarred him.]

Uh, sure? I guess?

[As far as Tony's aware he only has three friends and two of them are on his payroll. Even then he only knows they're friends because they've actually said "Tony you know I'm your friend, and as your friend..." then proceed to lecture him, Bruce hasn't really done that.]

There are times I did not know I had friends...because I did not think about it.

[Just some advice, Tony.]

Not much to think about. It's just how things are with me.

[Tony's never been real good with advice unless imminent death is involved sadly. But then growing up like him, no one's surprised.]

I thought the same...before I came here.

You know, for a kid. You're starting to sound very philosophical.

It's kind of making me feel old.

I just met him in a line and we spoke for a bit. He wasn't really big on giving me his life story, and I wasn't really big on hearing it either.

Doesn't mean we wont talk in the future, the kid wasn't exactly annoying after all.
