The emperor's clothes trick!

[Trixie casually strolls out of her room with her PawnChessmon hot on her heels looking flustered. This is because she's only wearing her hat and her cape. She informs him to turn on the communicator and he fumbles with it as she passes through the living room heading for the door.

The first image to appear on the network is of her bubbly blue butt complete with matching moon and stars markings on the sides like a tattoo. The camera pans up and she turns to face the camera with a flourish of her cape and flashing her modest sized bare chest in the process]

Greetings adoring fans! It is I, the Great and Powerful Trixie!

And Trixie is curious. With the city all smashed up are there ANY businesses open? Preferably where Tricie can procure more of those lovely peanut butter crackers they had in the vending machine near the main Terminal?

[not even mentioning the nudity... Because why would she?]

So foolish humans are aware all humans have reproductive organs, but so long as they cannot see them they do not think about mating?

And if they can see them mating is ALL they think of?

How utterly primitive.

It's not, I mean-- it's not like that, exactly, uh-- I-- [Campbell Saunders greatly misses Jane Shepard right now, even more than usual, because you know who could explain this? Jane Shepard.]

We don't go walking around naked, so seeing them isn't usually a thing, and can you please just put some clothes on? Please?

But the only clothes Trixie came with are dirty from multiple uses.

Trixie was going to go shopping for more clothes but has been informed much of the cities stores have been ruined.

[It's sort of hard to hear Cam for a minute, and then another voice takes over. It's Lucette.]

You need to wash the clothes you have, that's how! And look, there's stores out there still in-tact, and ones being rebuilt. It's better than going around naked. It makes the humans uncomfortable, see?

Trixie knows full well how to wash her own clothes. But washing them every day seems like such a waste of soap and water.

Trixie was ASKING where the stores were so she could go procure fresh clean adornments and perhaps make some money. But that does not change the fact that the humans are being unreasonable. Are they so repulsed by their own flesh and blood?

It's how the humans work! Now, what about you? This is simply what they're used to and when asked to stop, by your own roommates, you instead make insinuations!

I can't say for anyone else, but it makes Campbell very uncomfortable, so please, I am sure there are places left standing to buy clothes, so put the BIT you were given at the start to use!

[Sigh]

Oh very well. Trixie will bind herself like her body is shameful and disgusting so that a repressed and uncomfortable boy she barely knows can stop falling over himself in fits.

But as a Digimon you must admit that such modesty is a waste. Look at all your fellow monsters who have no need for clothing.

[Oh if she could be staring Trixie down right now.

Her voice is firm.] What matters is helping them adjust. I'm a Digimon born with clothes, so I suppose I understand a bit more.

And don't you say a bad word about Campbell. You don't know my partner, anymore than I know you.

[She can hear it in her voice, she is unimpressed.]

So helping them adjust is more important then helping non-humans adjust. Got it. Very fair.

Trixie did not say anything particularly bad about him. If you mistook it as bad then perhaps you need to reconsider your opinions on the subject. Is it wrong for him to be uncomfortable or repressed? Trixie would not say so.

He is not repressed! [She hmphs loudly.] You are putting words in my mouth.
