Naaah, we just needed ta'get away from town for a while. Yaknow, clear our heads and junk. I mean I'm pretty sure dyin' kinda takes a toll on a guy, don'tcha think? We weren't alone or sucked off by some data stream this time, at least. Nah, we had BWG with us!

[From the corner of the feed Kotemon can be seen, cautiously patting Fearless' side.]

So um....he's...um....our friend now, right?

You kiddin'? BWG was always our friend kid!

[Wow ok, looks like someone got over their paralyzing BlackWargreymon fear.]

BWG's my man, I'll tell ya that much! Now see I just gotta get workin' on gettin' ta' Ultimate...

But anyways, so what'd we miss?

[Hiccup can be heard groaning from the other end of the room as he tinkers with his leg with a screwdriver.]

You know, I'm pretty sure they want to talk to me, not you.

Heeeey, Fearless! Long time no see!

[That entire video has him laughing. And super glad to see the kid again.]

[She scrambles and it almost sounds like there's some paper being thrown about.]

[Fearless is just going to roll his eyes and push Kotemon out of view of the camera.]

Sounds like that'll work out, then, considerin' you must not have been invited anyway.

[Hiccup sighs but smiles anyway, resting an arm over his knee.]

Good to see you too, Ruffnut.

[The most notable differences about Hiccup will be his upgraded leg, along with a faded burn scar along his neck and the side of his face. Also he might have gotten a little taller? That or it's just her imagination.]

Uh- this is Fearless, my Gomamon partner....and Kotemon, who I just met up with about a month or so ago.

[Fearless waves a fin while Kotemon just stands partially hidden behind Hiccup's good leg.]

Must be a huge coincidence that everything's so similar. That, or everyone just....kindof has the same idea of how a winter celebration should look.

[Hiccup stares in silence for a few moments, blinking and shaking his head a little with a small smile.]

Well that....wasn't expected. But it looks like you just got your Crest, Kagerou.

[Woah wait you got him a thing?]

..Something? ..for me?

...Oh, right.

[He had a feeling that's why she'd been acting that way when they first spoke, but....well, you never really know with some people. Hiccup shakes his head, rubbing the back of his neck.]

Oh no, it's...it's no big deal. I mean she's a really good friend of mine too, so I couldn't just...stand by and see her get hurt.

[She giggles.] I guess so...I guess all the colors for the decorations work really well against the white snow.

Well....the last thing I remember doing before leaving town was helping in the shelter while Titamon was attacking. Right after Kotemon showed up I went back to my apartment and then left a few days after that.

[Hiccup smiles when he hears Martin's voice, taking the D-Terminal in his hands so he can talk to him face to face. Fearless grumbles and hops up onto the desk before lying across Hiccup's shoulder so he can see too.]

You could say that, yeah. I just needed some time to myself...Berk definitely isn't as compact as this place is.

[Fearless jumps up onto the desk and flops over Hiccup's shoulder, scratching the side of his face with a claw.]

Speakin' a fightin' and whatever, are you feelin' better from all that now?

Soup can't be hard ta' find. Just need ta' shop around a little in town.

[Hiccup glances off to the side for a moment, thinking.]

Do you think Arcee would want us to bring her some soup, then?

I don't know much after that because I wound up going on a trip to explore the area and try and find out more about who holds power where.

As it turns out, there's not a lot of information available on this island. A pretty good amount of salvageable electronic stuff, though.

[Hiccup nods, chuckling as well.]

Speaking of snow, I was wondering when this place would see some. You almost never stop seeing it back home once it starts.

[Ah. Well good to hear that nothing else has dissolved into utter chaos during his absence.]

I'm...guessing you're feeling better now from the whole....virus thing too, huh?

Yeah... not that I was particularly good at being evil.

[Chumon puffs out his chest trying to look more impressive them he is. But that's hard to manage only being a foot tall]

[Hiccup nods, smiling slightly.]

...Right. You haven't been here long enough to hear about our "real" partners, I guess..

Some crap about us first guys not bein' the real deal. Looks like yers got lost in the mail, toots.

[Hiccup shakes his head at Fearless, sighing.]

I wouldn't worry about that too much right now, though. It's kinda hard enough keeping your eye on one of these guys.

Aw come on, how tough can it be?

[to prove her point she scoops up Chumon and holds him by his tail as he swings his tiny fists uselessly trying to hit her]

Heck yours are barely as big as a dragons head.

[Chumon decides to make the point for Hiccup and produces a block of cheese from some unseen pocket. When he throws it at her face it explodes with enough force to knock her over, singe her and send chunks of cheese everywhere]

Yes, I've recovered most of my strength by now. What of yourself, Fearless?

Me too, for what it's worth. It's a lot less painful than you'd think, huh.

You do know these thing can evolve, right? As in...change their forms? The-!!

[Hiccup jerks back and shields his face with an arm when the cheese suddenly explodes, startling him into stunned silence.]
