Ey' folks! Betcha ya thought we was dead again, huh? Not this time! Hic just fell asleep for a month.

Fearless.

Ooor we can be lame and tell the truth!

Naaah, we just needed ta'get away from town for a while. Yaknow, clear our heads and junk. I mean I'm pretty sure dyin' kinda takes a toll on a guy, don'tcha think? We weren't alone or sucked off by some data stream this time, at least. Nah, we had BWG with us!

[From the corner of the feed Kotemon can be seen, cautiously patting Fearless' side.]

So um....he's...um....our friend now, right?

You kiddin'? BWG was always our friend kid!

[Wow ok, looks like someone got over their paralyzing BlackWargreymon fear.]

BWG's my man, I'll tell ya that much! Now see I just gotta get workin' on gettin' ta' Ultimate...

But anyways, so what'd we miss?

[Hiccup can be heard groaning from the other end of the room as he tinkers with his leg with a screwdriver.]

You know, I'm pretty sure they want to talk to me, not you.

What are you talking about?! Tuffnut and I just saw you the last night before I got here.

[she's on her way through the city now. If nothing else she's gotten the lay of the land by wandering around all month.]

Yeeeep, I thought so. Time doesn't exactly work the same here as it does back home, so for me it's been....like, half a year- but for you? Only a day, apparently.

...uh....sure that makes sense.

[only five minutes and he's confused her. That's pretty par for the course]

Whatever. If you've been here a year how come the world isn't saved yet? Do people not listen to you here either?

...Saving this world isn't going to be like convincing an entire village of vikings that dragons aren't completely awful. Trust me, it's been a mess.

[she's wandering around outside now with Chumon on her heels]

Harder then getting Stoick to change his mind?

I'd say so, yeah.

[Hiccup leans over and snatches a pen from the desk before hurling it at the door. It bounces off with a good, loud thunk.]

If you just heard that, then you're in the right district.

[she perks up and looks around. Chumon climbs onto her helmet]

I heard it! That way blonde!

[and she's off and running.]

So, what do you do without dragons to train? How do you help?

Well uh...I've been helping out by going on missions, fighting rogue Digimon, ....you know, trying to not get killed.

[Again.]

Yeah, we don't need that hassle again.

Again? What do you mean again?

Hahaha! You died? Lame!

[Hiccup rolls his eyes a little.]

I uh....got in a fight, didn't make it out of it. ..but apparently you can't really die here, luckily for me. I'm ok now.

[Clearly he got better.]

What do you mean you can't die?

[WHAM! Thud! Ruffnut was watching the screen and Chumon steered her into the door]

If you get injured to the point of-

[Oh, hey, that racket interrupted him. Fearless sighs and hops from the bed to get the door for them.]

....death, you kinda....go into a comatose state for around 6 hours before waking back up, healed enough to where you won't be...dead. Still a little sore from it and I've got some scars I won't soon forget, but otherwise I'm ok.

[After that he cuts the feed, turning and waiting for them to come in.]

You got new scars? Lemme see!

[way too excited about that as she bursts into the room grinning her crooked grin and looking him up and down]

Whoa. You really do look different!

[Hiccup sighs but smiles anyway, resting an arm over his knee.]

Good to see you too, Ruffnut.

[The most notable differences about Hiccup will be his upgraded leg, along with a faded burn scar along his neck and the side of his face. Also he might have gotten a little taller? That or it's just her imagination.]

Uh- this is Fearless, my Gomamon partner....and Kotemon, who I just met up with about a month or so ago.

[Fearless waves a fin while Kotemon just stands partially hidden behind Hiccup's good leg.]

[she shuffles forward, leaning in much too close to admire his new scars]

Wait...you have two digimon? And both of them are bigger then mine!

[Chumon puffs out his chest trying to look more impressive them he is. But that's hard to manage only being a foot tall]

...Right. You haven't been here long enough to hear about our "real" partners, I guess..

Some crap about us first guys not bein' the real deal. Looks like yers got lost in the mail, toots.

[Hiccup shakes his head at Fearless, sighing.]

I wouldn't worry about that too much right now, though. It's kinda hard enough keeping your eye on one of these guys.

Aw come on, how tough can it be?

[to prove her point she scoops up Chumon and holds him by his tail as he swings his tiny fists uselessly trying to hit her]

Heck yours are barely as big as a dragons head.

[Chumon decides to make the point for Hiccup and produces a block of cheese from some unseen pocket. When he throws it at her face it explodes with enough force to knock her over, singe her and send chunks of cheese everywhere]

You do know these thing can evolve, right? As in...change their forms? The-!!

[Hiccup jerks back and shields his face with an arm when the cheese suddenly explodes, startling him into stunned silence.]

[she sits up and coughs up a chunk of cheese that she had accidentally inhaled other then watering eyes and light burns she doesn't seem phased and ignores Chumon just to irritate him as he poses smugly]

Change their forms? What do you mean?

[Hiccup gestures for Kotemon to stay where she is before standing, letting Fearless climb onto his shoulders.]

Come outside and I'll show you.

[The Viking girl shrugs and climbs to her feet rubbing the black from her face as she and Chumon follow them outside]

Fearless huh? Good name.

Well, you've got to do something good to earn a good name like that.

[He smiles slightly, scratching beneath Fearless' chin with a finger as they head outside.

Once there, Hiccup moves his tunic back and pulls his digivice from his belt, holding it tightly in his hand. He nods his head to Fearless who leaps from his shoulders, his body glowing immediately as the device begins to tremble.]



Gomamon, digivolve to.....Ikkakumon!

[Suddenly, standing in their midst is no small seal thing, but one rather MASSIVE walrus thing.]

WHOA!!!

[Ruffnut's jaw falls open at the sudden transformation.]

I...how...Thor almighty that is AWESOME!!!

[Fearless lowers his head and snorts, enough to blow Ruffnut's hair back.]
