Naaah, we just needed ta'get away from town for a while. Yaknow, clear our heads and junk. I mean I'm pretty sure dyin' kinda takes a toll on a guy, don'tcha think? We weren't alone or sucked off by some data stream this time, at least. Nah, we had BWG with us!

Some of the mechanical things out there have actual circuitry.

I'm not sure if it actually works, but...if it does it could be useful to salvage some.
