[Because while they didn't do that under their mistletoe, she's heard about it.]

[Right, they were doing something. He gestured ahead of himself with a smile.] After you?

Well, it is. [He shrugged with one hand.] But it's an optional tradition? Some people prefer not to do it, and some others- [A light move of his hand to acknowledge her.] -aren't familiar with it at all, so it's perfectly fine to skip it.

[Her eyes widened slightly as she looked up at him, a dark blush blossoming on her cheeks as her heart pounded. Then a smile grew, spreading across her face.]

[She let him go ahead of her, waiting until he was a good distance away before releasing a shaky breath, her heart still racing. A small sound, a happy little laugh, bubbled up from her throat, and she had to force herself to calm down, trying to wipe the wide smile from her face.

Then she hurried to catch up to him.]
