[Blackarachnia grumbles softly as her device is aimed at her. Whoever is holding it is asking for punishment as she glares at it. She just wanted a quiet morning, but whatever. She glares a little more, her black eyes narrowing. ]

Cut that out or I will end you.

But Milady, tis the season! You must say something to your fellow Chosen!

[The camera pulls back and we can finally see what Blackarachnia is doing. She's sitting on the couch in her apartment wearing a leather jacket and with a mug of hot cocoa in her hands. Her other partner Venom is sitting next to her munching on a chocolate cupcake. The Dorumon glances up from her cupcake and then shakes her head slightly.]

...Might wanna do it just to get him to shut up.

....Fine. Merry Christmas to the organics. I still don't understand what they're celebrating but whatever.

See! Was that so hard?

[The camera suddenly gets turned around and her Taprimon smiles into the camera and waves.]

[ooc: Despite her words, Blackarachnia has left gifts for a few of the people she actually likes. Sort of. Dante, Roze and Harley all get little baskets of cupcakes and cookies. It looks like a certain she-spider decided to do a little more baking after all. Her roommates also get enjoy cupcakes too. ]

Somehow, I can believe that.

...So what are you doing today anyway?

Oh you know, the usual, scrounging for free loot in the ruins of the city. Stalking people I find interesting.

Only if you want more cupcakes before the bottomless pit twins eat them all.

[She quietly turned her device to catch both her Dorumon and Taprimon munching away on said treats.]

[The camera clicks off and in record time Harley is at B.A's door knocking excitedly]

[Blackarachnia just stares at her device for several long seconds.]

What... just happened?

[Her Digimon share a look before shrugging. Moments later there's knocking at her door. She gets up to answer it and just stares at Harley for a few seconds before just... getting out of her way and letting the hyper woman in.]

...That was quick.

[She gives a cheeky grin]

Well when my favorite set of legs in the digital world calls me I come a running~

[Faint smirk.]

I'm sure the promise of sweets had nothing to do with it.

Nothing you can bake that's sweeter then you legs~

[But all the same she saunters over to sample the goods]

So, you enjoy baking then?

[She shuts the door behind her friend and turns to watch her saunter towards the goods.]

You're making it sounds like I'm some sappy Maximal.

[Pause.]

Maybe.

"Hey now, there's no shame in enjoying your work. Creation, sweets. I dunno how it is for robots but in your human body your brain produces chemicals that make you feel good when you do things you like. It's like a reward, positive reinforcement."

She plucked one of the cupcakes up and slid a finger over the frosting sucking it off her fingertip with a happy sigh.

"So why not indulge?"

"...It does huh." Blackarachnia's not really sure if she likes that news or not. So for now she just shakes her head and follows her friend into the kitchen.

"Indulging can lead to trouble."

"So can holding yourself back." Harley countered playfully.

A bite from the cupcake and she made a noise of approval "You're getting better with each batch."

She rolls her pitch black eyes slightly before taking a seat at the counter and selecting her own cupcake.

"So says you. I still think they taste the same."

Though, that didn't stop her from biting into her own sweet treat.

"Yes but you're still new to this. I'm an expert." She teased with a wink.

"How does it feel? When you're working on them?"

With a cupcake in her mouth, it's hard to argue with Harley's logic at the moment. Or tease back for that matter.

"...Good."

As much as she hates to admit it.

"Well good!"

She scarfs the rest of the cupcake in a few bites, getting some frosting on her cheek.

"Have you experimented with any other cooking types? Or just the baking?"

"Just baking."

She toys with the rest of her cupcake before shrugging. "I've been sticking to easy things to make for food, nothing elaborate."

"Hey, if it makes you happy no need to mess with it."

She scooped up another cupcake and gestured dramatically "Some would say that cooking is an art form, to by experimented with. Others say it's a science where you are suppose to follow the instructions to the letter."

The word 'science' got her attention more than the thing about art forms. "Is it? Then maybe I need to look more into cooking."

On the other side of the room Blackarachnia's digimon just shared an uneasy look.

"Oh sure! Think of it like chemistry. You're adding chemicals and components and heat to create something new, something tasty and possibly even nutritious. Fuel for that complicated system of biological machines you are currently run by." She patted her own stomach indicating she meant "The human body"

"Chemistry huh? I do have plenty of experience with that..." And her mind is already thinking about what she might be able to do with this. Half of it... might involve explosions of some sort.

There's a reason why her Digimon might look worried.

And that may be the same reason why Harley is grinning so brightly.

"I can't wait! I'll be your personal taste tester too! Unless it looks inedible. Then I'll make Punch do it."

Somewhere Harley's Bokomon was shuddering and he didn't know why.
