This is belated, and not really my style, but I'd like to apologize for not getting the emergency response team mobilized or even put together in time for the attack on Terminal Tokyo last week. Now that things have begun to settle, could I get a show of hands for how many of you are still around?

[ Beat, and then he attaches the current roster: here. Well, Kera does it for him, but semantics. ]

Anyone who's interested in the idea can fill out that attached forum and I'll add you as well. This lull is probably our best bet to getting everyone up to speed and hopefully training everyone in the skills they want or need.

[ Shannon flinches back out of principle, even though he knew Eli was on his way as soon as Kera spoke up. Speaking of, Kera still isn't letting go but he does let Eli feel for himself. ]

It's nothing. Just weary from all the travel. I don't get sick.

You don't?

I don't. My immune system's steel-clad. You're worrying for nothing. [ That's for Eli. Even though he does feel much warmer than usual. For most people, this would be the point to call the hospital and start freaking out. ]

Don't try that with me. I know it's not just the travel. You're too warm for that.

And your immune system might be steel-clad at home, but it sure isn't here. Get into bed and try getting some rest. I'll see about getting you something to drink.

[Part of him briefly wonders if he could possibly try to steal an entire water cooler for Shannon's use.]

[ Shut up. Shannon hardly ever gets sick, how often does he really get to use that line? ]

Suppose you want to take over for the role call, then?

How do you deal with sick humans? [ Believe it or not, this is directed at Eli. Shannon huffs. ]

[He's heard worse. Far worse.]

Make sure he gets plenty of rest and plenty of fluids and if he looks like he's going to throw up, pass him the trash bin.

And what does that look like?

That's when I turn a funny green color. [ Yes, Shannon is rolling his eyes, then gives a small grimace. ] Oh, there's the headache. Kera, off.

[ The digimon doesn't look too pleased, but does actually remove himself so Shannon can scoot back enough to find a pillow and drag it over. It leaves Shannon somewhere around the middle of the bed and looking very put-out by his immune system's failure. ]
