This is belated, and not really my style, but I'd like to apologize for not getting the emergency response team mobilized or even put together in time for the attack on Terminal Tokyo last week. Now that things have begun to settle, could I get a show of hands for how many of you are still around?

[ Beat, and then he attaches the current roster: here. Well, Kera does it for him, but semantics. ]

Anyone who's interested in the idea can fill out that attached forum and I'll add you as well. This lull is probably our best bet to getting everyone up to speed and hopefully training everyone in the skills they want or need.

From what I'm hearing, there are a few different destinations. I've heard that one mentioned and a place called 'San Fransisco' so far.

Thought those were just pitstops along the way. Didn't know we really had the option to stay in San Fran.

So am I, and that's the impression I got. Doesn't matter, if they're all connected by train like that, it's better than nothing.

Until the trains stop running anyway. I'm fine with walking but I doubt everyone else feels the same way.

[She's already thought about trains refusing to work for some stupid reason. Blackarachnia likes to think of it as being realistic in a place where everything is trying to kill you.

Doubt they'd all go on strike at once. [ For some reason, it doesn't occur to him that some sort of technical failure would hit. They're living beings, after all, not just convenient forms of transportation. ] I mean, at least one of 'em will probably keep running.

I'd like to say it's an if, not a when, but after that attack... Gotta admit, it's not looking all that optimistic lately. Almost tempted to set up some kind of secondary transportation system just in case.
