Hah, well, he looks kinda like a cross between a ferret and a fox, right? Best way to pick up a ferret is under the arms and support his hindquarters.
[Granted digimon seem a little more resilient to awkward handling than your average creature, but the suggestion can't hurt.
He raises an eyebrow curiously.]

He found me, actually. Came out of nowhere and scared Pip.

My partner Cody found me and the same happened with my brother's partner. ...Come to think of it, all of our partners kinda found us, instead of the other way around. H'I think they just know, dude.
