[A Strabimon comes into focus on the screen. He looks vaguely concerned, and a Hyokomon can be seen yelling MAYA over and over again in the background.]

Are there any Chosen on the island of San Francisco that would be willing to help Hyokomon and I locate our partner, Maya? She was supposed to be back by now, but it's probable that she got distracted by something.

[Hyokomon has switched from just yelling Maya's name to yelling various threats of never-ending house arrest. Strabimon glances over his shoulder and sighs.]

Maya is a little over five feet tall, has blond hair, and was last seen wearing an owl hat and a sweater with an owl on it. She also had a cello strapped to her back, and we would be very grateful if you had any information about her whereabouts.

[The Trailmon pulls into the Terminal and Cam's off it right away, Salamon and Lucette following. He doesn't even stay to listen to the warnings that it'll be gone in ten minutes. He's going to need to take another, but he doesn't care. More important things.

First he starts looking for Strabimon and Hyokomon, to check-in. The list of music stores is up on his D-Terminal, however, and that's first on his mind.] Hey, Strabimon! Hyokomon, I'm here!

[They're not particularly far from the terminal, because Strabimon had informed Hyokomon that Cam was coming and they'd both concluded that his Super Maya Senses^TM were better suited to this than theirs. Hyokomon notices him first, though.]

Cam! Do you have any leads?

[He puts the D-Terminal out for Hyokomon to see, waving Strabimon over as well.]

It's a list of music stores. I say we divide 'em up and go out looking, two groups so we've got a D-Terminal with us at all times.

You take the first half and we'll take the second.

[Hyokomon's about to start walking off when Strabimon grabs her by the sword on her back. He squints at the list.]

Can you send us that list?

[Despite the situation, Cam lightly smiles. A few button presses and the list is sent.]

We'll keep in contact.

[Cam and his partners set off, to Amoeba, and they begin combing when they get there, each taking a section of the vast store. Any luck?]

[Strabimon and Hyokomon aren't having any luck, but tucked into the very back corner of Amoeba is a stage. A piano's still on it, and there is a cello bag propped against it which should probably set off some kind of bell in Cam's head. Maya's probably told him at least a couple times that cellos are supposed to be out, and they only go in bags for transport.

Maya herself has a pair of headphones on and is sitting on the floor and flipping through a lower rack of CDs.]

[Well, there's his pretty and easily-distracted girlfriend. The cello bag gives him pause, and he picks it up and carries it before walking over to her.

...and sitting next to her on the floor in quiet, keeping the bag supported against his own body.]

[Maya doesn't notice him for a couple moments. It's not until she's sitting up to look at a CD that she catches sight of him and startles.]

Cam! [Headphones off.] . . . What are you doing here?

[Her surprise is absolutely adorable and he has to fight back smirking.]

Well, a certain someone happened to wander off, and I was called in as the detective to track her down.

[???????? Oh. Oh wait.]

. . . Oops. I lost track of time?

[He laughs. Sorry Maya!]

Yep, knew that'd be the answer!

[Making sure the cello bag is well-supported, he leans over and kisses her on the cheek.]

Hyokomon is probably about ready to strangle me, huh?

[She's grinning, even though she's in trouble because, well. Hyokomon.]

[Cam nudges her with his shoulder.]

She tries it, and I'll be your shield, don't worry. Take one for the team.

I don't think Strabimon would let her. [She knows her partners.] But I'm totally using you as a shield anyway. You make a good shield.

'Course I do, if it's for you.

We can stay awhile, you know. I can send a message and make sure they don't bug you while you listen to...all this.

We'll be here forever if you let me keep looking. [She laughs, mostly at herself.] Pretty sure this whole situation has proved that.

I still haven't even gotten through all the stuff you gave me for my birthday, so I'm not sure I need to be adding a whole music store too.

[Oops, that's right. He responds with a tiny sheepish grin.] Weeeell, then I guess I'll call in the troops, or at least say we'll be heading their way soon.

[He starts typing out a message as he talks-- Found Maya. Amoeba Store. Don't worry, on our way soon.-- when--]

...Say, I'm not one for, stealing, ya know, but, there's not really anyone here, so if you want to try...taking a few selections...
