014 | [Video][Dated after he arrives in Hospitown]
[So...getting his ass kicked in Tokyo sure did brighten his day. Fleeing isn't exactly an Autobot trait he really likes exhibiting, and with all that went down on New Years Eve...
And all that he LOST there...
The feed clicks on, showing him sorting through what he could grab on his way out--His blanket from Fluttershy, the keychain Sora gave him, a pair of boots, a sweater...and what looks to be a small book with bunnies on it. But none of that was really what he was looking for. He must have left it behind...
After awhile, he gives up, grabbing his jacket.
It wasn't important now.]
I don't know about you, but I'm tired of bein' told I gotta do somethin' by guys who aren't my Commander. If this world wants me to do my job right, can't say tryin' to off me is the right way to do it.
Try sweet-talkin' next time.
....
Anyway, figure if this is how they wanna play this, then we might as well be ready. I'm headin' down to train with my group, get the terrain familiarized. So when the next giant Digi-thing decides we're not up to par, we can shove it up their tailpipe.
Anyone needs me, I'll be at the city limits.
[Private to Ratchet and Bee]
Gonna need to rendezvous with ya.

Least when we get there, we won't have to worry about Decepticons paying a visit.
[No crashing energon mines, clashing with vehicons- just sitting down and having one of those ... burgers, they were called?]
[Action]
[It's been great, really.]
[Aw Bee, you're starting to make him miss those times. The only downside? No burgers. Speaking of, he's leading the Scout along, eventually to an area that, by all accounts, looks like it was made for cars to drive through.
Drive Thru, get it?]
Wait here.
[He looks at both Bee and the Digimon. No need to weird up the place while he goes ordering burgers.]
[Action]
BADUM CH!He just gives Wheeljack a thumbs up.
Weirding up the place? Hey. Look at this face. What trouble could Bee possibly get into while you're away getting delicious foods? What do you take him for? Miko?]
[Action]
He knows what trouble them human kids get into. Sorta. Either way, he retreats into the restaraunt, leaving You and Him to look up at him with soft smiles. It was hard, making conversation with Bee.
Like...did you just talk normally? What did you even start with?
Thankfully, it doesn't take Wheeljack long to come back, two bags in his hands. Guess he bought in bulk.]
Miss me?
[Action]
[Also, Bumblebee may not be... exactly where Wheeljack left him when he returns. In fact, he and Vanguard are hovering over a group of rowdy children and their digimon playing outside. Just watching.
They're still within sight of the entrance. He didn't wander off completely. That counts for something, right?]
[Action]
And boy, let him tell you about them blue shells. He experienced them IRL.
When he comes back out with the bag, his eyes immediately dart around for the Scout. Swear to Primus, Bee. He can't leave you alone for TWO SECONDS (you're guilty of this too, Wheeljack, what are you talking about). Upon setting sights on him, he walks over, chucking the bag at him.]
Hey, bug. Here.
[Action]
Though, just to explain what was compelling enough for him to wander away: Blip. Text message to Wheeljack.]
Remind you of someone?
[He nods his head at the children, one of which stands the tallest and straightest. His idea of play involves telling
orderingthe other children how to play properly. He is agitated because there's always one kid who never wants to do what he tells them to do.Hmmm...]
[Action]
At the message, though, his eyes flick up at the group, giving a quick study.
And at the little maverick in the corner, his lips curl up.]
Kid knows what he's doin'.
[A hand wraps around Bee's shoulder, ruffling that hood.]
Doesn't always play by the rules, but gets the same results.
[Action]
How did I know you'd say something like that?
[He may stay standing for a bit longer to watch the kids, and as Wheeljack's arm is resting around his shoulders. But he'll eventually settle down on the curb because he's not real picky about where he refuels.]
Give them some time. Maybe they'll be good friends.
[Action]
Hear Scouts are good with that kinda scrap.
[And when Bee takes a seat, Wheeljack's soon to follow, opening his own bag of burgers. He sets the D-Terminal in front of him, to provide easy access for any answers.]
Yeah? You sure about that? Sometimes kids like that don't settle too well under command.
[Don't mind him if he already works his way into his first burger.]
[Action]
Not so sure. Maybe they just need a chance.
Why do you think this one wouldn't do well?
[Action]
Some bot-...kids never change.
[Almost a slip up there. Whoopsies.]
[Action]
[He still remembers how the team was a little different after the Wrecker became a part of it. The way Bulkhead's face lit up every time before a mission. The way Arcee's subtle smirk came a little easier after one. Ultra Magnus changing his perspective bit by bit.]
[By then, Bee's got his hamburger unwrapped. He takes an almost cautious bite. One slow chew, then another. And then he seems to freeze, staring down at the food in his hands with surprised eyes.]
[Action]
[Ah yes, that face. It's one he knows all too well, Bee, because it's one he made when he took his first bite. An actual laugh escapes as he pats Bumblebee on the back.]
What'd I tell ya?
[Action]
This is why Jack and Raf and Miko always stopped at those fast food places.
[He never knew what he was missing. In fact, between trying to describe this new sensation ('I can't eat this fast enough') and the excitement, the only thing that comes out is just this side of silly:]
It's like there's too much food and not enough mouth.
