[ Chika had thought about making this post for quite a while, but... something kept holding her back from doing it. That actually saying what she wanted to say would... make it all the more real. It was kinda upsetting to think about what happened back in the city. How the city wasn't there anymore. And well... how useless they were.

It was just like with those Digimon that were killed by those soldiers back in her world, only this time Chika and Biyomon weren't able to suddenly access a higher level evolution to deal with it.

But this is a post that she really has to make, isn't it? ]

Umm... hi everyone. I know I haven't really been on the network lately and stuff. I've been thinking about a lot of stuff and it's been pretty crazy. And getting to Hospitown is taking a long time too.

[ Though she doesn't mind it all that much. It makes it easier to think without having to get used to a new place. ]

But umm... once Masaru-niichan and I get up there, I... we really need to start training more. I think all of us need to. Jupitermon came after us for a reason and... I don't think he's going to stop just because he blew up the city. Not with all of us escaping like that.

If we don't all get stronger... we're not going to stand a chance again him. But... I don't want to see anything like that happen again. We need to be able to stop him next time!

[ She's starting to choke up a little bit here, so it might be time to end the message but first... ]

I think we're going to be there in a couple more days. If anyone wants to start training to get stronger? Let me and Biyomon know, okay?

[Whoever this guy is he's probably a complete stranger! He sounds pleasant enough, with a voice on the higher end of baritone. And he sounds ..thoughtful. There's a babble of someone else's voice in the background, apparently explaining some feature or other of HospiTown.]

Can you tell me a little more about Jupitermon and what he did, beyond blowing up the city? I'm a bit new, and recent news is a mystery.

Umm... okay.

[ She takes a deep breath, then starts to explain. ]

He's a really strong Digimon. And has two hammers and uses electricity and stuff. He's one of the Olyumpus Twelve, which is a group of really, really strong digimon. And he said he was coming because we were "sacrificing digimon for our own benefit". So he blew up the city. With a lot of digimon in it.

[There's silence on the other side as presumably this is processed. It's important information to know!]

'Olympus Twelve'. Are there other members of this group you might be willing to tell me about? And are you or we sacrificing digimon for our own benefit? I'd been told digimon don't really die here, so the idea of sacrificing them seems odd.

[ Chika realizes how loud she is almost as soon as she's done yelling that, and frowns. ]

I... sorry. I don't really know much about them. I know that Venusmon gave all of the chosen from worlds without Digital Worlds connected to them new digivices and that another one was fighting against Jupitermon when the city was attacked. But that's really it.

It's alright, I can't expect everyone to know everything. Thank you for what you have told me though, a lot of this is still a mystery.

[He sounds content with that much. She'd been helpful as best she can be and that was important!]

Don't get too upset about the digimon. If they didn't want to be our partners, I don't think they would be.

I... don't think he was talking about our partners though. With the... whole sacrifice thing he was talking about. He seemed just as angry with our digimon as he did with us.

[ And she's been with Biyomon since before coming to this world. She's the last person who needs to worry about her partner wanting to be with her. ]

[ She waits a few moments, before sighing. ]

We just... we couldn't do anything back there. You couldn't do anything, Takato and Guilmon, Masaru-niichan and Agu-chan...

We couldn't do anything at all.

I... I know.

[ But it's hard to even think about staying cheerful right now. It's... she didn't know how good they were going to be able to get before he came after them again. It was kinda scary. ]

I just... I just hope we'll have enough time.

... Am I supposed to be happy that the entire city got blown up and that we couldn't stop it?

Of course not...

I'm not happy that I was powerless to stop it from happening. I'm not happy that some guy came barging in and said that we weren't good enough.

But sometimes you have to be ok with what you could do. The city got blown up, but how many people were we able to get out? How many digimon did we actually save?

I... I know. But... it's really hard to do that right now, Juri-chan.

Any idea what the deal was with Jupitermon? You said he had a reason, and it sure sounded like he thought he did...but it just seemed different from the other digimon that attacked.

Any idea why he's so angry at the other Chosen here?

[Call him crazy for thinking it, but perhaps there's a way to resolve this peacefully if they can work out the heart of the matter.]

But well... umm... it did seem to be pretty different. I think he's supposed to be one of the Digimon that's protecting the Digital World. So I don't know why he did what he did.

Do you think there's any chance somebody'd be able to speak with a digimon like that? A parlay of sorts?

I don't know. I mean, Venusmon's supposed to be part of that group too, but she didn't even let us know that Jupitermon was really annoyed or that he was going to attack us. They might not talk to each other much.

Really? There's a group? Are they all named after planets in the Solar System?

[That's what comes to mind first anyway with those names.

I wonder if there's any chance Jupitermon would listen to a Chosen, or one of their partners perhaps, to try and work things out...
