 [The screen flickered for a second before turning on. It showed Donnie in his room, having moved enough things out of the way that his bo staff wouldn't hit it. He was moving through a few katas, moving his staff expertly and quickly through various moves that only a highly skilled ninja could follow. He may not be in his world anymore, but he was in some world that could have some kind of danger appear any second. He needed to be prepared for anything.

You've been playing with your stick all day, when are you gonna quit? It's boring to watch you after the first hour?

Look Kamemon, I have to train. If I don;t my ninja skills will get rusty, and while I'm here I certainly don't want that happening. Besides I do this on a daily basis at home, this is just what I do.

Ugh, fine. I'm just gonna keep playing with your D-Terminal until your done.

...Your what? You didn't turn anything on, did you?

Ugh... no. [Well except the camera, but who would watch something as boring as a fifteen-year-old humanized turtle play with a giant stick?]

[Well, that wasn't at all expected. It catches Hiccup off guard a bit, causing him to tilt his head while he regards Donnie with a solemn expression. After a pause though he smiles faintly.]

..Thanks Donnie. ...You're right, you don't always need brute strength to be strong. If you're smart, intuitive, and brave....well you can do just about anything.

Well, Kamemon, looks like you've got quite a partner to live up to there, hm? ...Since he's a ninja and all.

Well... To put it simply, I'm a warrior who fights in the shadows. We use stealth, wit, and ninjutsu, which is a highly-advanced fighting form, to defeat our opponents. Ninjas have to be quick, swift, and most of all remain unseen

...My brothers and me are bad at the 'stay unseen' part though, but everything else we're good at.

Well that's....definitely a lot different from how vikings like to fight.

Our philosophy is grab something that looks like a weapon and have at it. Not...much stealth or technique, unfortunately.

Well ninjas will do that if they have to, and my brother Raph prefers doing that anyways...

But yeah, ninjas ans vikings have very distinct fighting styles. They originated in different countries though and I believe there was a time difference from when they both originated. So it's really not all that surprising.

[Hiccup resists rolling his eyes at Kamemon, and he's pretty sure Donnie is doing the same.]

But...what do ninjas have to fight really? Vikings usually only fight wild animals, dragons, or more commonly, each other.

Well a ninja's philosophy, according to master Splinter, is that we fight for defense. In his words... [In his best Splinter voice] "A ninja does no harm... unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of it."

We fight only to defend ourselves, and in recent days... We've made a lot of enemies that we have to fight. Other ninjas, monsters, robots, which are mechanical people I guess is the best way to put it.

To put it simply, we fight so that we don;t get killed by everything else.

Guess a lot of people fight for defense. We only fought the dragons before because they were ransacking the village and stealing our sheep.

Yeah, that sounds like a good reason to fight.

Who needs a reason? Why not fight for the heck of it? I like doing that!

He started a fight with another Chosen's Digimon, and I'd rather it not happen again.

He was ASKIN' for it Hic! Y'can't let people walk all over you.

I don't. But we can't start making enemies with our allies.

I don't see how Gomamon was in the wrong if the guy was asking for it. Sounds like it had been the right thing to do to me.

Man, that must have been an awesome fight. Donnie, why can't I have a cool fight with someone?!

First of all, fighting isn't always cool. [He's learned this the hard way.] Second, I'm not going to go looking for a fight for you just because you wan tone.
