 [The screen flickered for a second before turning on. It showed Donnie in his room, having moved enough things out of the way that his bo staff wouldn't hit it. He was moving through a few katas, moving his staff expertly and quickly through various moves that only a highly skilled ninja could follow. He may not be in his world anymore, but he was in some world that could have some kind of danger appear any second. He needed to be prepared for anything.

You've been playing with your stick all day, when are you gonna quit? It's boring to watch you after the first hour?

Look Kamemon, I have to train. If I don;t my ninja skills will get rusty, and while I'm here I certainly don't want that happening. Besides I do this on a daily basis at home, this is just what I do.

Ugh, fine. I'm just gonna keep playing with your D-Terminal until your done.

...Your what? You didn't turn anything on, did you?

Ugh... no. [Well except the camera, but who would watch something as boring as a fifteen-year-old humanized turtle play with a giant stick?]

[Elsewhere in Ed's apartment room, Guilmon is taking a nap having cleared the fridge of all its contents.]

But I'm sure yours is really good too! It's all just a matter of getting to know each other and get along.

So far... Kamemon is as annoying as my brother, all three of them.

I've heard that so many times now,t hat it doesn't faze me anymore.

Well, that just means you'll be like brothers instead of just like friends! That gives you an even tighter bond than normal, right? [Not that Ed can really talk about family bonds but he can sure as heck be optimistic about them!]

[The turtle Digimon kept his stubborn face, but the slight sadness in his eyes was there. Good thing he had his shell turned to Donnie, eh didn;t need him seeing that.]

Once, a dragon of balance who was way smarter than me with a toenail as big as I am told me that everything happens for a reason.

I believe him, because he's really big and impressive and knows lots of stuff.

Still, you can't win a fight with strength alone. Being a nerd lets you think things through, and that lets him know how to direct your awesome power. That's what'll really make you the greatest Digimon of all time. Right?

It's great to meet you, Donnie. Kamemon. [He gives both of them a small wave.] My partner is Guilmon. He's... not here right now, so I'm afraid it can't introduce itself.

I can't wait to work with you guys to fix whatever's broken around here.
