[The screen comes on to show Salamon, it's kind of dark like she's hiding in something. She looks both sad and worried.]

Does... Does anyone out there know how to get their Chosen to stop hating them?

[She glances to the side, as if looking in the direction that Tony should be in.]

Huh! That doesn't sound like hate to me. Sounds like your Chosen's in a bad mood and being kinda rude to you because of it. [ Biyomon falls quiet for a moment. ] Or it could be that he got used to just his first one, and he's not uhh... adjusting well to you being around as well, miss number two.

He's been like this ever since I found him. And Port argues with him all the time too.

But if we're partners why should he have to adjust? Also, I don't have a name, so Salamon is okay to call me.

Mine's not much better. I expected him to be nicer, but...

Well, it's like this. They had their lives all worked out before coming to the Digital World so having somebody new in it is probably a lot weirder to them than it is for you and me, see? There's gotta be some adjustment. [ He's talking out of his tail-feathers a little. Forte had been here for a week or two and showed no sighs of softening towards him, which ruffled his feathers. ]

Oh. I don't have a name either, actually... Wait. Are they supposed to name us?

I guess? I mean, it makes sense, he is really grown up.

[Salamon shrugs.]

Tony started calling Dorumon Port just after I showed up. And I was talking to a Leormon who's chosen was working with them for a name. So maybe we are meant to have names?

Yeah. Eh. Also, we had some kind of advance warning. They didn't know we were waiting for 'em before this.

[ Biyomon clucks his beak, chewing on that. He doubts Forte would bother. ]

Huh! One more thing I'll need to badger mine for then...

I wish they did know...

[ He lets out a gusty sigh. ]

But they don't. I don't think there's a way we can change that.

[She's quiet as she thinks about it.]

Yeah, it's kind of sad.

[ Huff! ]

Uh, maybe in the future... They'll work something better out.

Like sending them a note! That..That could help a little?

[ His head bobs. ]

If they don't do something stupid with it, yeah. [ Like rip it up. Forte would have ripped it up. :c ]

[Tony would have just ignored it actually.]

They wouldn't do something stupid to something like that would they?

[Yup, pretty sure they would.]

[ Biyomon droops. :c :c ]

As dingdonged unbelievable as it sounds, I... Think some of 'em would. I don't get it either. [ Partners are important, why would you ignore something like that?? ]

[Salamon droops too, almost out of fram kind of drooping.]

Oh.

[Partners are so very much important, if Salamon thought about it it would boggle her little mind.]

[ He hurriedly perks up. ]

A-Anyway, however it turns out in the future, they're here now, aren't they? We'll work with what we've got!

You're.. You're right!

[She nods, trying not to look so sad herself.]

[ Good, the kid doesn't look so down anymore. :) :) ]

So, look! If your Chosen's being a jerk, figure out why... and try to improve the situation? This is a 'give and take' deal here! Partners are partners! Don't accept him shutting you out or whatever.

Do you have any ideas how I could do that?

[ Biyomon rubbed his beak. Well, yelling at his Chosen hadn't gotten him the results he wanted yet and this was a little kid so... Uh.

Uhhh. ]

Umm... Start with small steps, I guess? Figure out what he's okay with you doing for him and what he's not. Do what he's okay with well until you can get to work on convincing him to let you do the bigger, not-so okay stuff?
